*Most of us have a pretty clear
idea of the world we want.
What we lack is an understanding of how to go about getting it*

Aarav entered the office after knocking. Even though Arjun is his best friend, he knows very well that teasing a lion can be fatal.

"Hey bro, what's up!"

He exclaimed like a child.

Arjun glanced at him and, ignoring him, went back to his work.

Aarav made a fake angry pout.

"Are you for real? I just came from the USA after months to meet you, and here you're ignoring me. Is this how our friendship is?"

"Shut up!" Arjun said, concentrating on his work.

"Really? Shut up. Your friend came to visit you from the USA, and you're telling him to shut up? No 'hey,' no 'hello,' just straight to threats. You're becoming emotionless day by day." Aarav said dramatically.

"Just cut the crap, Aarav! We both know very well that you haven't come to India just to say 'hey' or 'hello' to me."

Arjun looked at him.

Suddenly, Aarav became serious.

"You are right. I have come to make you understand that whatever you are doing is wrong, Arjun." He said in a serious tone.

Arjun closed his MacBook and looked at him.

"What do you want to say?"

"Oh please, Arjun! You're not so naive that you can't understand what I want to say," Aarav replied, sitting down in front of him.

"So, you found out," Arjun said, pretending not to care.

"How can you do this? How can you ruin an innocent girl's life for your revenge?"

Aarav said, clearly disappointed.

"Aarav, I've told you before and I'm telling you again, stay out of my business, especially when it comes to this matter."

"I would have stayed out of it, Arjun, if you had kept it to yourself. It was one thing to fake love or cheat in a relationship, but getting married? That's just wrong!" Aarav exclaimed.

"Seriously, Aarav? Now you're lecturing me on right and wrong after knowing everything?" Arjun said.

Aarav's eyes soften.

"Arjun, I agree that what happened to you was wrong. Seeking revenge is understandable, but you're targeting the wrong person. You know she's innocent. You can't hurt her. This is wrong."

Aarav explained, trying to reason with him.

"That girl is not innocent! My entire life has been ruined because of her. I lost everything because of her only. And you're saying she's innocent? I will never forgive her."

Arjun slammed his hands on the table.

"Arjun, I understand where you're coming from, but punishing an innocent person is not the answer."

Aarav responded sadly.

"For god sake, she's not innocent! She may not have done everything herself, but it's all because of her. That man did everything for her. Didn't he? If everything happened because of her, then she should be punished, right? You can do whatever you want, but I'm already married to her, so nothing can be done now."
