SIYA'S POV
.
.
.
Sad, confused, and worried are the emotions I am feeling nowadays.

It has been a week since that terrible incident. My physical wounds are healed, but I still feel the emotional pain. The nightmares have stopped, but the memory of what happened is still hard to forget. I know it takes time!

Arjun has changed a lot since that night. He now treats me with extreme care, almost as if I'm made of glass.

His overprotectiveness is both comforting and overwhelming. I can't believe this is the same Arjun who couldn't even bear to see me. His eyes, which once only showed anger, now have a mix of regret and something else-maybe affection.

He hasn't let me go to the office or do any work for a week. I appreciate his concern, but now it feels like he's controlling me. When I told him I wanted to go back to the office and that I could work now, he initially refused. After a lot of effort, he agreed, but with some conditions.

One evening, I told him.

"Arjun, this isn't right. You're being unreasonable. I'm fine now that the injuries have healed. I want to go back to the office. I want to continue my work, please." I complained!

Arjun looked serious.

"I've told you many times that you won't go to the office. Your health isn't fully recovered. Rest for now and return after two or three months. That's final."

I was hell-shocked.

"Are you serious? I just have some minor injuries, in fact, just scratches. It wasn't a major accident that needed months of bed rest. I'm going back on Monday, end of the discussion."

He sighed, probably realizing there was no point in arguing further.

"Fine!" He said, agreeing reluctantly. My happiness was short-lived when he added.

"But you have to follow some rules."

I frowned.

"Not again! I've already told you I'm not following your rules."

Arjun took a deep breath, probably trying to stay calm.

"There aren't many rules, a few for your safety. If you follow them, you can come back to the office; otherwise, a big no." He said.

I agreed, knowing that if I argued more, he would refuse to let me go back at all.

I braced myself for the conditions he would set.

Arjun explained the rules carefully.

For example, if I had any problems, I had to tell him immediately. I wasn't allowed to talk to unknown employees at the office, but only those he approved. I had to let him know where I was and keep my phone on at all times, at any cost. He had also set up an SOS feature on my phone to alert him, Aarav, and Karthik if I was in any trouble.

It felt like he was trying to control every part of my life, but I knew arguing more would only make him more stubborn.

Even though I was frustrated, I agreed because I understood that his actions, though extreme, were out of concern.

Thinking about all these things made me smile. Nowadays, Arjun has been very patient with me. No matter what I say or do, even if it might upset him, he stays calm.

I find it enjoyable to test his patience, and he never gets angry.

The only thing troubling me is the condition of our company. I asked Arjun about it, but he assured me everything was fine and there was no need to worry.
