Siya woke up from sleep and remembered everything that happened the day before.
She smiled as she recalled how Arjun had explained everything to her to avoid any misunderstandings.
But the smile quickly disappeared when she remembered his betrayal and everything he had done to her.
"Stupid Siya! How could you forget everything he's done to you? Just because he gave you an explanation, you can't forget everything he's done to you until now."
She scolded herself.
She got up from the bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up. After getting ready for the office, she went to the dining room to have breakfast.
In the dining hall, she noticed that Arjun was not there. Only Mira was in the kitchen preparing breakfast.
She went to her and asked, "Mira Aunty, where is Arjun? Why didn't he come for breakfast yet?"
"Madam, sir left for the office at 9:00!" she said.
"He went to the office! How will I go to the office now?" she asked.
"Madam, sir was saying that there is some important work today, so he had to go early. He was saying that you can come after having breakfast. There's a driver downstairs, and he will take you to your office"
"Oh"
"Madam, please sit down. The food is ready. I will serve it to you," Mira said.
"Yes, that's fine, but how many times do I have to tell you not to call me madam? I don't like it." Siya said while pouting.
"You know that I can't call you by your name. Sir will not like it."Mira said sadly.
"What does your sir even like except getting angry?"
She said, and both of them laughed.
"Please sit down, I will serve the food," she said.
"Okay, Aunty"
She sat on the dining table.
Mira served her omelet, toast, and porridge.
"Aunty, my coffee?" Siya asked
"Yes," she said and started serving her coffee.
Siya loves coffee, her day doesn't start without it.
Mira poured her coffee, but before she could drink, the strong smell of coffee hit her nostrils and made her suddenly feel nauseous.
She ran into the kitchen and started vomiting into the sink. Mira followed her, held her hair and helped her.
"Water," Mira said as she made her sit on a chair and offered her some.
Siya drank the water and started feeling a little better.
"Madam, are you okay? Why did you vomit so suddenly?" Mira asked concerned.
"Don't worry, I'm fine. I've run out of my medicines, so I haven't taken them for 2 days," Siya explained.
