still hope after disappointment,
who still believe after betrayal,
and who still loves after
they've been hurt."

SIYA'S POV
.
.
.
I knocked on the door, and within a minute, it opened. A maid stood there, smiling.

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Rathore. Madam is waiting for you in the hall; please come in."

I found her behavior a bit strange but didn't pay much attention.

As I walked inside, I saw Kimaya Aunty sitting on the sofa with some papers and sipping coffee. As soon as she noticed me, she got up and exclaimed,

"You've come! I was waiting for you, Siya!"

She hugged me, and it felt odd to me, but I didn't say anything.

She made me sit next to her on the sofa.

"How are you?" she asked.

"I'm fine, Aunty. And how are you? Where is Uncle?"

Aunty became a bit nervous at my question but then said, "You know these businessmen; nothing is more important to them than their work. They don't even care about their health. I'm sorry, Siya. His health was not good, but then a crucial meeting came up, and he left everything to go."

I was surprised.

"He left? I came to meet him. How could he just leave?"

Aunty made a sad face.

"I tried to stop him, dear, but he wouldn't listen. He said it was more important, so he went."

"It's okay, Aunty. It's not your fault." I said gently.

She smiled at me.

"Well, it's good then! In the meantime, we can talk. He should be back soon, and then you can meet him as well."

She called for her maid and instructed her to bring us some coffee.

After that, Aunty turned to me again and asked,

"So, tell me, how are you? Everything is fine, right? I mean, is everything okay between you and Arjun?"

I looked at her in confusion, wondering what she was trying to ask.

I smiled lightly and said, "Yes, Aunty, everything is fine with us. Don't worry."

Although this was nothing right between us lately, I felt hesitant to share the truth.

After hearing my words, she became a little serious.

Just then, her maid brought the coffee. She handed me the cup, and as soon as I tried to drink it, the strong smell hit me just like before, making me feel nauseous. I quickly put the coffee cup down and asked,

"Aunty, where is the washroom?" I asked for urgency.

Aunty looked at me with confusion.

"Why? What happened?"

I covered my mouth to hold back the nausea and said, "I'm feeling nauseous. Please tell me."

She signaled to her maid, and I followed her to the washroom.

After throwing up and freshening up, I emerged from the washroom and went back to the hall, where Aunty was still sitting. I approached her and sat beside her. The maid offered me a glass of water, which I gratefully accepted and drank.
