Year Four
fifty eight. Dragons

The air was cold and windy as the first task of the Tri-Wizard tournament approached. All Magnolia knew was that it involved dragons, and that Everett was terrified ever since she found out.

"Mags! I dont fink you understand how nervous I vam!" Everett spoke as she paced back and forth her and Magnolia's dorm room.

"Hasn't Fleur been training all summer? I know she will be fine Everett," Magnolia attempted to reassured the girl. The Beauxbatons girls were forced to where their uniforms, but the Hogwarts students weren't. Magnolia threw on a Hogwarts cardigan and some jeans to wear. Magnolia was going to meet with Lucille to head out to the Quidditch pitch which has been transformed into a dragon-fighting arena.

"Where do you want to sit? Next to Fred?" Lucille smirked viciously as Magnolia shoved her and rolled her eyes.

"Yes," Magnolia mumbled as she took Lucille to the section that Fred said him, George, and Lee would be sitting at.

"Hey," Fred smiled at Magnolia as she sat down next to the lot. The whole Quidditch Pitch, which was turned into a dragon arena, was filled with students from all three schools.

Magnolia and Fred didn't speak much, not that there was much to speak about. The crowd was lively, but they were all worried for Harry. All of the three champions were able to get their eggs from their dragon which caused each crowd to erupt in cheers.

"Harry's next," Magnolia mumbled to Lucille who nodded. Lucille looked around the stands to see Draco and their friends laughing. Magnolia had been distancing herself from them and Lucille couldn't quite figure out why.

It must be hard for her, being a skilled Legilimen at only fourteen. She found out secrets about her professors and family that she shouldn't know. Lucille's attention got brought back to the competition when cheers erupt as Harry came out.

Lucille watched as he struggled but got his firebolt, and ultimately obtained his broom. Harry defeated the dragon and obtained the egg which caused majority of Gryffindor, and others, erupting in cheers.

The stands cleared out and Lucille left to go find her younger brother to warn him about partying with Gryffindor tonight. Which left Magnolia alone, with Fred.

"Walk back together?" He looked at the blonde Slytherin who nodded. He held out his hand as he helped her down the stands. The two walked in silence, the silence was filled with so many unanswered questions between the two of them. Where did they stand? Do they date? Do they not? Are they friends?

"I think we should talk," they both face each other at the same time. They faced away from each other, faces red from both saying the exact same thing.

"You first." Magnolia tells him.

"I like you, Mags. Like more as a friend, but there's been so much I just don't know-, I just can't keep it from you, knowing you can read my mind at any moment" Fred starts to ramble. It was no shocked to Magnolia that Fred had fancied her. Bloody hell, he had kissed her infront of Theo last year in Hogsmeade. There had been too much between them to just start up a relationship though. For starters, he was two years older than her. Also, Magnolia's back and forth relationship with Theo and Fred's back and forth relationship with Angelina had been making things awkward.

"Why don't we... take things slow?" Magnolia suggests to Fred. He looks down at her with the brown eyes that she had found so perfect since she met him. "Of course, if that's what you want Mags."

"Gryffindor is having a party tonight... would you wanna be my plus one? Lucy can come as well." Fred asks Magnolia. Magnolia looks up and him and nods.

"Of course Fred, pick me up in the dungeon at seven." Magnolia winked as she parted her way down to the dungeon as they reached the castle.

"Well, lover boy," George put his hand on Fred's shoulder as he crept up behind him. Fred rolled his eyes as his brother had the biggest tooth eating grin on his face.

"If you're here to lecture me about how I shouldn't like Maggie I don't wanna hear it." He tells him.

"Freddie, I'm your twin." George sighs. "At this point nothing I say is going to diminish what you feel for Magnolia Malvorseve. I just can't believe I'm going to be a best man at a Slytherin wedding!" George laughs as he walks away. George was right. Ever since Fred had met Magnolia at the Quidditch pitch years ago, something sparked in him. He didn't know what it was at first, but as he got to know the blonde Slytherin more he knew. At first it scared him. Now, he's learned to accept it. The only problem is, will everyone else accept it? Will his family? Will Magnolia's? Will they have to run away after Fred graduates and get hitched? Probably not. Fred shook away his thoughts as he headed to the Gryffindor commons, he needed to figure out what to wear.

A/N:

Wow hi. It's been like four years... anyways I have too many thoughts about Maggie and Lucy's ending that I have to share. So chapters might be smaller, not as detailed but I need to have my plans written out so.
