It's been a week since our fight against the Saviors. After much preparation, we are attacking. Well, the others are. I'm forced to stay behind the walls of Alexandria. My bump got bigger, and Rick didn't wish for me to be in danger. Judith and Athena would be with me, while Alexander and Magnus would take the pack and attack the second base.
It was the back up space for in the first base ever crashed. Isabelle and Carl would be with me, protecting Alexandria.
I got up and went to the pack. I passed Alec and Magnus their bags, before speaking to the pack.
"When you go out tomorrow, remember to stay safe and be fast. Use your abilities to your advantage. Claws, Tails, Paralyzing, anything you can think of, use them. Listen to my boys. They know what they are doing. They may be younger than us, but they know the plan, layouts, and how to use everything around them. Trust them as you trust me." I spoke.
"Ma'am!" They yelled.
I walked back to the house. I saw Rick kissing Judith. He walked to me.
"You stay safe." He told me.
"I should be telling you that." I told him.
"I will." He said, kissing me, before kneeling and talking to the babies.
I watched as they all left.
"They'll be safe." I told the kids.
"I wanted to go with them, but we need to keep our home safe." Carl said.
"I did too, but we need to think of everything. Rick will be safe, so will Alec and Magnus." I told him.
I wrapped my arms around them, and we went home. As Judith and Athena played together, I sat reading a book.
I heard a knock on the door and saw Carl and Isabelle with letters.
I opened the one with Rick's handwriting first.
"The plan is working. We're doing this, we're winning. We had a hard fight. We lost people. Brave people, who gave their lives to make sure we won. By the time it was over, there weren't any Saviors left standing. All of it, it's scarier than I thought it'd be, but we're doing it. We have to. Sasha was first, and now there's been more. The sacrifices are real. We need to make it right for them. The rest of the plan is still a go. We're moving on to the next step. I'm heading there now. The Sanctuary's still surrounded. They're trapped. Cut off to their supplies. Every hour that goes by we're making 'em weaker. The lookouts are all around the compound. They open a door, we fire. But if they open a door, seems like they'd have bigger problems. We meet at Sanctuary in two days to end this, to win it all. It's not like we haven't fought before. We fought every step of the way to this place, to this moment. The path has led us here, to who we are, to each other, to now. And we're so close. This can be our last fight." He wrote.
I looked at Maggie's.
"We beat 'em but it got complicated. Jesus and Glenn, took prisoners, brought 'em back home. We're holding 'em outside our gates for now, till we decided what to do. Until I decide." Maggie wrote.
I opened Carol's next.
"We took the outpost bit by bit. We thought we'd won. We were gathered up in the open when they ambushed us. It was over in seconds. Ezekiel, Jerry, and me, we're the only ones who made it back." she wrote.
"We're winning, but we have lost a lot." Carl said.
"We have." I said.
I grab Alec's letter and opened it.
"Hey mom, it was a rough fight, but we captured everyone. We had to kill almost everyone. We lost three members, but we used our strength against them, like you taught us. The pack has been on guard. I have the Kanima's hiding in the woods, while the wolves surround the outside of the building. Magnus is in his form, guarding the Saviors. They're too scared to move. Th place is all full lock down and we will know if any Saviors come this way." He wrote.
