When I woke up the day had gone by. I saw Rick getting dressed.

"Are you okay?" Rick asked.

"I will be." I told him. "You know I can still smell and feel him." I told him.

"His scent or emotions?" He asked.

"Both. When he passed, his scent was that of love. He loved us all so much and I don't know how to handle that. How to accept that I lost a child. A boy I have seen grow. How do I accept that. And I want to talk to you, but you left as soon as we got here and you never talk it." I told him.

I watched as he sat next to me.

"Carl... Carl was always headstrong. When he knew something, he believed it. He wished for me to forgive Negan. To not kill him, but to lock him up. That Morgan had the right idea. He believed that there is another way. And I don't know if I can do that. Not after everything he has done." He told me.

"I believe you can. People will hate us and doubt us. But we need to be willing to face that because our son asked us to make a difference. To change. To forgive. And that we will suffer for, for our son. So that he can see that we did it." I told him.

He nodded.

"Have you read your letter?" I asked him.

"I... I can't." He told me.

"Try my love. Try to read it before you make a mistake that Carl did not wish for you." I told him.

He nodded and I got up to wash up. After I got ready, I saw Rick gone. I went outside and saw Glenn with Judith, while the girls were playing. I walked up to him and hugged him.

"Thank you. I needed that." I told him.

"Mama!" Judith called.

I smiled and took her.

"No problem. I wished Maggie would rest, but she believes she needs to do this. At least she's not in the front lines anymore." He told me.

"I wanted to be up there, but being pregnant with twins is hard." I told him.

"Do you want to find out the gender? There was a doctor here that was an Obstetrician. He has all the equipment here." he told me.

"Oh my god, yes." I told him.

Together we walked, leaving the girls to play. He helped me on the chair, and I handed him Judith. I grabbed the gel and brought the sonogram closer. As I turned it on, I listened for the heartbeats.

"They're strong." Glenn told me.

"Yeah. at night, when I can't sleep, I like listening to them. It soothes me." I told him.

"So, what are they? Girls, Boys, both?" He asked.

"Uh... We have a girl." I told him. A girl. I smiled. "And... a boy." I told him. A son. I promise to keep you both safe and make sure your loved.

I took a picture, making two copies. I grabbed Judith from him.

"You're going to be a big sister, Teddy bear." I told her.

She just laughed and together we left the room.

"Thanks Glenn. Now, go get your wife and have her eat something." I told him.

He laughed, kissing my forehead, and left.

"Girls!" I called. "Tell me what you see?" I asked them.

"I see babies." "Something." They told me.

I pointed at the first one.

"This is your baby sister." I told them, before pointing at the second one. "And baby brother." i told them.
