Chapter Forty-Seven

Six Years Later

It's been six years since your death. The communities have been striving. Alexandria is striving. It's been difficult since your passing. Daryl and Michonne have been looking for you all this time. In that time, they have even become a couple. It honestly surprised me, but they suit each other. They believe you are still alive, and I wished I could hope like them, but that day I felt your death. I feared I could not survive without you. Without my mate, but thanks to our children I have. 

Alexander and Magnus are married. They have grown into a fine adults. They help me run Midnight pack community. They're the leaders when I'm gone. Alec is close to becoming an alpha. I can feel it. He'll be a true alpha, like my uncle Scott. And Magnus, he's so powerful. He has mastered his hellhound. Our boys have become fine young men.

Our beautiful, Isabelle is a doctor now. After years of working with me, I can safely tell you that she is as good as I am. She is strong, fiercely independent, and courageous. Her and her mate, Alden, have moved in together. He is a good match for our girl.

Our firecracker, Athena, is not a kid anymore. She's a teenager. She is magnificent. She has one of the kindest souls I have seen, since Carl. She helps people and always plays with the kids.

And Judith, she reminds me of Carl and Lori. She is nine now and she is always helping people. She wields a sword. I also have been teaching her how to use a bow and the supernatural. She loves learning. She also has your gun and Carl's hat. You would be so proud of her.

The twins, Carly and Liam are so big now. They both look so much like you. They have your hair color. And Carly, she has your eyes, but Liam, I think he is more me. They are showing signs of being wolves. I hope Carly doesn't get the Banshee side, but they're both very strong. Stronger than other kids.

And our last baby. Our beautiful baby boy, Nathaniel, Nate. He is perfect. I always keep him close to me and when we aren't playing, he's with his siblings. 

Our children are so loved, and they know all about you and Carl, their big brother. It's been difficult, but I've been able to raise our kids and help our communities. I even see Negan. I still don't like him, but I tolerate him now. I hope you're watching us. You and Carl. I love you, Rick Grimes. Always and forever, mi Vaquero.

"Mommy." My bambino yelled.

"Yeah baby?" I asked as I picked him up.

"When is Jude getting back?" He asked me.

"She'll be back soon. Promise." I told him.

He nodded and we walked back to the house.

"Mom!" The twins yelled as they hugged me.

I laughed.

"Alright, babies. I have to go do something. Do you promise to stay in the house while I'm gone?" I asked them.

They all nodded and I laughed. I kissed their foreheads, leaving them. I walked to the crops field and found Athena.

"Hey mom." She told me.

"Hey, baby. Can you watch the little ones while I'm gone?" I asked her.

"Sure." She told me.

I nodded and left Alexandria, walking into the forest. I walked a short distance before, placing everything in my bag. I hid it inside a tree before transforming into my wolf.
