Spider Woman 2099 exchanged a significant glance with her younger counterpart, finding solace in the fact that she could depend on her. As they stood side by side, Spider Woman (Gwen Stacy from Earth-65) marveled at the seasoned web-slinger as she skillfully tossed an object towards her.

The young hero was puzzled by the unfamiliar contraption in her hand, but Spider Woman 2099 (Gwen Stacy from Earth 928) promptly explained that she had received an invitation to join the esteemed Spider Society, an organization dedicated to maintaining equilibrium across the Spider-Verse.

Filled with enthusiasm to assist another spider-powered individual, Spider Woman (Gwen Stacy of Earth-65) eagerly followed her newfound ally through a radiant hexagonal portal. However, as she traversed through, an unsettling premonition gripped her, hinting at an impending catastrophe. Doubt began to seep in, causing her to hesitate.

Fortunately, Spider Woman 2099 was there to offer reassurance. Sporting a confident smile, she vowed that no harm would befall them. With that assurance, the two spider women ventured into the uncharted territory, prepared to confront any obstacles that awaited them.

"C'mon, we're late." Said Gwen (Earth-928)

"Right, I'm following you." Said Gwen (Earth-65)

As the two webslingers locked eyes, Gwen (Earth-65) felt a sense of relief wash over her. She knew that her interdimensional spider sister had her back. Together, they strutted out of the elevator and into the lobby, ready to take on whatever challenges lay ahead.

But what Gwen (Earth-65) saw next left her utterly gobsmacked. The lobby was teeming with spider people from all corners of the multiverse! And there, standing tall and proud, was none other than Spider-Man himself (Peter Parker of Earth-616 or Earth-199999), sporting the slick integrated suit from Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Despite being strangers, Gwen (Earth-65) and Spider-Man hit it off like a house on fire. They quickly bonded over their shared love for all things spider-related and became the best of buds in no time.

"So, how long have you been part of this?" asked Gwen (Earth-65)

"Six months." Peter replied

"Cool. This is my first day, so I'm not used to it yet." Gwen stated

Now, let's get into how Spider Woman 2099 met Peter and got him to join the Spider Society. Shortly after the ending of the 2021 MCU movie: Spider-Man No Way Home, Spider Woman 2099 travelled to Peter's universe (Earth-616 or Earth-199999). But to explain, let's recap the 2021 MCU movie: Spider-Man No Way Home, to explain how Spider Woman 2099 factored into all of this.

To set the stage, Spider-Man No Way Home saw Peter Parker's identity as Spider-Man exposed to the world, courtesy of Mysterio's betrayal. The web-slinger's life was turned upside down as his loved ones, including Aunt May, MJ, and Ned, became targets for various villains from different universes.

Desperate for a solution, Peter turned to Doctor Strange, who agreed to cast a spell to make the world forget Spider-Man's true identity. However, the spell went awry, causing a rift in the multiverse and allowing villains from other realities to enter Peter's universe.

As the situation spiralled out of control, Spider-Man enlisted the help of his friends and fellow Spider-Men, including Doctor Octopus, Electro, and the Lizard, to contain the chaos. In the end, Doctor Strange's spell was rewritten to make everyone forget Peter Parker, not just his Spider-Man persona.

In the aftermath of the events, Spider Woman 2099, who had been monitoring the multiverse, sensed the disturbance caused by the spell. Her advanced technology and precognitive abilities allowed her to track the anomaly to its source: Peter Parker's universe.

Intrigued by the young hero's courage and determination, Spider Woman 2099 decided to pay him a visit. She arrived in Peter's universe, materializing in his apartment, where she found him struggling to come to terms with his new reality.

Gwen Stacy from Earth-928, aka Spider Woman 2099, was taken aback by Peter's vulnerability. She saw a kindred spirit, someone who had shouldered the weight of responsibility and made sacrifices to protect others. The two Spider-powered individuals quickly formed a bond, with Spider Woman 2099 sharing her own experiences as a hero from a dystopian future.

As they talked, Spider Woman 2099 revealed her knowledge of the Spider-Verse and the existence of the Spider Society, an organization dedicated to maintaining balance across the multiverse. Peter, still reeling from his recent ordeal, was hesitant at first, but Spider Woman 2099's words resonated with him.

She explained that the Spider Society was not just a group of heroes but a network of spider-powered individuals working together to prevent catastrophic events from unfolding. The organization's motto, "One thread, one web, one universe," resonated deeply with Peter, who had always felt the burden of being a hero.

Convinced by Spider Woman 2099's words, Peter agreed to join the Spider Society, and she presented him with a sleek, high-tech suit that would help him navigate the complexities of the multiverse.

With Peter on board, Spider Woman 2099 returned to her own time, knowing that she had found a valuable ally in the fight to protect the Spider-Verse. She kept in touch with Peter, monitoring his progress and offering guidance whenever needed.

Months later, when Gwen Stacy from Earth-65 received the invitation to join the Spider Society, Spider Woman 2099 knew that the time had come to introduce her to Peter. And so, the two Gwens, from different eras and realities, stood together, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, with Spider-Man by their side.

As they entered the grand hall of the Spider Society, Gwen (Earth-65) couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder. The room was filled with spider-powered individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with their own unique story to tell. There was Spider-Ham, a cartoonish hero from a universe where all characters were anthropomorphic animals; Spider-Man Noir, a dark and gritty hero from a black-and-white universe; and even Spider-Girl, a young hero from a future where she had inherited the Spider-Mantle from her father, Peter Parker.

The atmosphere was lively, with heroes from different realities mingling and sharing stories of their adventures. Gwen (Earth-65) felt like she had finally found her tribe, a group of people who understood the struggles and triumphs that came with being a spider-powered hero.

Spider Woman 2099 smiled, knowing that she had brought two kindred spirits together. As the three of them stood there, surrounded by the vibrant tapestry of the Spider-Verse, they knew that they were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, together and united.

And so, the story of Spider Woman 2099, Spider-Man, and Spider Woman (Gwen Stacy from Earth-65) became intertwined, as they embarked on a journey to protect the Spider-Verse, one thread at a time.
