Brianna, also known as the Scarlet Spider of Earth-65, jolted awake to a startling sight - she was bound to a punching bag! As she tried to make sense of her predicament, she was confronted by an unfamiliar version of Gwen from Earth-95. This Gwen was unlike any other - she was cold, callous, and showed no signs of regret for her actions. Brianna watched in horror as this malevolent Gwen began crafting a set of armoured claws, which she then donned with a sinister grin.
"Listen, I'm not from this universe. I was bitten by a radioactive spider that gave me spider powers." Brianna said
"Who are you, really?" Earth-95 Gwen asked
"I told you, my name is Brianna." Brianna replied
In a world known as Earth-95, Gwen Stacy found herself growing increasingly frustrated. With a surge of annoyance, she unleashed her armoured claws, tearing through the punching bag and leaving deep claw marks in its wake. Little did she know, this alternate version of Gwen had a sinister agenda.
As the evil Gwen caught hold of the swinging bag, she turned her attention to Brianna from Earth-65, warning her not to deceive her. Brianna's spider sense tingled, alerting her to the imminent danger. She glanced up, only to be met with a pair of piercing white eyes, surrounded by fierce purple highlights. A mysterious figure descended from above, revealing more of their suit, which bore a striking purple hue. The clawed gauntlets that Gwen had been perfecting were now in the possession of this enigmatic individual, who also sported an array of intriguing gadgets.
Curiously, their boots seemed to be an upgraded version of the iconic Jordan 1 shoes, adding a touch of style to their formidable presence. The mystery figure concealed their identity behind a mask, which could be conveniently folded into the back of their head when not in use. And to Brianna's surprise, this enigmatic individual turned out to be none other than The Prowler from Earth-95.
"What are you doing here?" Prowler asked
"Pardon?" Brianna asked in fear
"Tell me what you're doing here." Prowler said
"Listen, I was sent here by mistake, you've got the wrong girl!" Brianna cried
"Interesting." Prowler said
"Who are you?" Brianna asked
Prowler took a cautious step backward, and like a well-choreographed dance, her mask effortlessly folded into the recesses of her head, unveiling a shocking revelation. Standing before them was none other than Brianna, but not the Brianna they knew. This was the Earth-95 version, a twisted reflection of their beloved friend turned into a formidable villain.
"I'm Brianna Scots. But you... you can call me The Prowler." Said Earth-95 Brianna
As the realization sank in, Brianna's eyes widened in sheer disbelief. How could her alternate self have taken such a dark path? It was a jarring sight, witnessing the transformation of someone so familiar into a force of evil. The air crackled with tension as the two versions of Brianna stood face to face, their destinies now intertwined in a way they could have never imagined.
The Earth-95 variant of Brianna exuded an aura of malevolence, her every movement dripping with calculated menace. Gone was the warmth and kindness that Brianna embodied, replaced by a chilling demeanour that sent shivers down their spines. It was a stark reminder of the infinite possibilities that existed within the multiverse, where even the purest souls could be corrupted by unforeseen circumstances.
In that moment, Brianna couldn't help but question the nature of her own existence. What choices had she made differently that led her down a different path? Was she destined to follow in the footsteps of her alternate self, or could she still forge her own destiny, one that defied the darkness that threatened to consume her?
As the Earth-95 Brianna smirked, revelling in the chaos she had unleashed, a flicker of determination ignited within Brianna's eyes. She refused to let her alternate self define her future. With unwavering resolve, she vowed to fight against the shadows that threatened to engulf her, to prove that goodness could prevail even in the face of overwhelming darkness.
The stage was set for an epic battle between two versions of the same person, each representing a different path taken. It was a clash of ideologies, a battle for redemption and self-discovery. And as the Earth-95 Brianna lunged forward, ready to unleash her wicked powers, Brianna braced herself, ready to confront her own demons and emerge stronger than ever before.
Across the vast expanse of the Spider-Verse, everything that could possibly go wrong was going wrong. Brianna was trapped on Earth-95 and facing an alternate Prowler version of herself, with no way of getting back home. Gwen could not help but feel responsible for the predicament, knowing that her silence about the Spider Society and Spider Woman 2099 had played a part in it. Not to mention the fact that Spectre had also returned to Earth-65, ready to unleash his own devastating brand of chaos and despair upon Scarlet Spider, not knowing that she was in another dimension.
Gwen was determined to rescue her girlfriend, but knew that she could not do it alone. With her portal watch from the Spider Society which granted our hero the power to open portals to other universes. She rallied a team of webslingers, including Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Hobie Brown (Spider-Punk), Pavitra Prabhakar (Spider-Man India), Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield), Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly), and even two versions of herself from different Earths, who came to her dimension during the events of Spider-Woman: No Way Home.
The other Spider-People fired their webs and swung into the interdimensional portal ready to save their friend. Gwen stared into the portal and knew that she had to make things right. If she was honest with Brianna about the Spider-Society, none of this would be happening.
This is going to be my biggest battle yet. I have to travel through different dimensions to save the woman I love. I slowly love my mask over my face, and get ready to run into the portal. There's just one thing I have to ask: "You want in?" Gwen towards the portal and shoots a web, ready to save the love of her life.
