Their eyes widened in amazement as a figure stepped through not one, but two portals of dark matter. The webslingers exchanged a knowing glance, their determination etched upon their faces. They knew that they had to intervene, to put an end to the malevolent plans of this mysterious figure.

With the grace of a panther, Spider Woman and Scarlet Spider stealthily made their way inside the desolate building, taking advantage of an open skylight. Their hearts pounded with anticipation, knowing that the fate of the city rested upon their shoulders. They were ready to confront this enigma head-on, to protect the innocent and bring justice to those who had wronged them in the past.

"Spider Woman, this is just great for us!" cried the mystery individual.

Spider Woman turned to face the stranger. "I'm sorry, who are you?" she asked.

"You can call me Spectre." Said the dark matter individual with a sly grin

Spider Woman heard her interdimensional travel watch activate. She had just received a call from Spider Woman 2099 (Gwen Stacy Earth-928), who warned her about the individual standing in front of them.

"2099, what is going on here?" asked Earth-65 Spider Woman

"Spectre is a dangerous anomaly, we need to stop him." Spider Woman 2099 replied

Spectre managed to control all of his dark matter and reverted back to his regular form. Spider Woman of Earth-65, could not believe her eyes. Spectre was her childhood friend, Peter Parker. Peter revealed that he knew knew that his childhood friend, Gwen Stacy, was Spider Woman and asked her to remove her mask.

In a thrilling twist of fate, Peter revealed the sinister origins of his transformation into the notorious Spectre. He yearned to be extraordinary, just like the legendary webslingers Spider Woman and Scarlet Spider. However, little did they know that their beloved friend had taken a treacherous path, one that would lead him down a dangerous road.

As the tension reached its peak, Spider Woman bravely launched an attack, hoping to bring Peter back from the brink of darkness. But to her dismay, her webbing only fuelled his fury, intensifying his anger and resentment. Peter, now consumed by the malevolent force within him, unleashed his full power, his dark matter swirling around him like a tempest.

Desperate to save her friend from his own destructive path, Spider Woman pleaded with him, her voice filled with both fear and compassion. "Peter, please, before you do something you'll regret, stop! Don't let this darkness consume you!"

But Spectre, his voice dripping with venom and vengeance, responded with a chilling roar, "I will make you suffer, just as those villains once made me suffer! Your lives will crumble, just as mine did!" The corrupted Peter Parker had fully embraced his new identity, ready to wreak havoc upon those who had wronged him.

Confusion and curiosity swirled within her as she embarked on a journey to uncover the truth behind this mysterious summons.
