Hitting snooze once again on my alarm before I actually woke up if I didn't leave now I was sure to be late.I quite literally shot out of bed putting on shoes and a different shirt same jeans.
I check Jackie's Room to make sure he was at school and obviously safe.

As I creeped down the stairs the house reeked of alcohol,my dad was knocked out cold,he looked disgusting.

I skated down hill to the richer houses of Hawkins to Steve's huge ass house exactly a minute before he leaves as his engine started.

I jump into his car with him."your late again?"he questioned as I put my skateboard in the back.

"well I'm here,so what you think?"
"Backseat,I'm getting Nancy."he demanded as I rolled my eyes with a groan.
"What you don't want the back seat ?I'll drive ."I answer sarcastically raising my brows as he furrowed his brows.

"Not a fat chance,back.now!"he says pointing to the back with his thumbs,i wiggled into the back seat flipping my hair out my face.

We picked up Nancy and it was silent,I bet it wasn't when I'm not here.The two were basically eye fucking the whole ride.

We pull up to school and I jump up out the car,the second I leave the two are in each others throats.Then I hear tires screeching and my attention turns to that.

The car door swings open and a boot hits the ground followed by another leather boot.I  look up and a guy in blue jeans and belt a white shirt,blue denim jacket and long curly hair steps out with a cigarette and out the other door was a familiar girl with a red jacket red hair and a skateboard .She skated away from the car as all the older girls of Hawkins drooled for her brother.

They walked over to wills locker as he opened the door paper fell out.Josh grabbed it before it hit the floor."what is this fucking shit?"he spat scrunching up the paper that had a photo of will saying zombie boy with crossings over his eyes."language,rooker!"

A deep voice shouted from down the hall .He grabs wills books and slams the locker shut,he shoves the books into arms roughly as the bell rings Will stumbled back as the kids in the corridor had either a snigger or a gulp.

"meet the human brain ,I know I know it doesn't look like much.A little gross even,right?But consider this. There are 100 billion cells inside of this miracle of evolution."

Sir still talking in the back as a note is getting passed to a boy with curly hair and a checkered shirt .He passes the note down the row .One girl chewing gum,another playing with a chatterbox no one listening besides the group of nerds at the front(Dustin,Mike,will and Lucas)

The kids around the back area were sniggering pointing at the notes being passed around and by kids I mean the assholes at school which Josh hated even tho he was one.

The door swings open making a bang on the wall as everyone cocked their head.
"Ah this must be our new student ."
"Indeed it is all yours."he nodded as the girl speedily walked away.
"Alright hold up,you don't get away that easy."he says eager to announce the new student.

"Come on up."he says as the girl takes a few steps back before spinning back around.
"Dustin,josh drum roll."Ever since the start of the year every time there was a new kid it was always us he selected.me and Dustin slam our books closed and start drumming them."class,please welcome.All the way from sunny california,the latest passenger to join us on our curiousty voyage,Maxine!"
"It's max."she shrugged coldly.
