Yay, Someone's suspicious of me again.

I was looking at his medical chart to see if I was aware of everything or not. I thought it would be better to clear out any confusion before we left the hospital. But was it ever possible that I could easily do something I thought of? No, A big fat No.

This man wasn't letting me concentrate at all with his staring.

"What?" I asked, after I got tired of reading the same sentence for the fifth time without understanding a word about it. "Just speak out. Your silent staring is annoying the hell out of me."

"I woke up around 5am and you weren't here," he stated plainly like he was talking about weather.

"Oh my! I am so sorry, I forgot to take your permission before going out," I apologized sarcastically. "I should have woken you up in the middle of night—"

"5am is considered morning."

"It's still dark out there and half of the population is still sleeping. Sooo." I countered in a matter-of-fact tone.

He just rolled his eyes at me, not bothering to respond to my oh-so awesome comeback.

"I waited for a long time for you," he said, looking kind of cute.

"You were sleeping when I came." I pointed out, before answering myself, "The medicines must have kicked in."

"Sooo...where...?" He trailed off, looking for an answer.

I threw the bag on his lap. "I went to your home to bring those," I said, while gesturing at the bag.

He looked into the bag and started removing the things one by one. His shoes, jeans, shirt; everything was now sprawled on his hospital bed. The most fun part was when he went bright red as he found his underwear inside. He immediately threw it back inside the bag while clearing his throat to get rid of the embarrassment.

"Why? Not throwing it out on the bed like other things?" I teased.

"Shut up."

Gosh! He looked so cute. A total Red Tomato.

Annoyed by my fun at his expense, he started glaring at me. Unfortunately, it didn't work one bit and I continued chuckling. And as a last resort, he did something he had a specialization in.

Yes! That's right. Suspecting me.

"Are you sure you went there to take my clothes? Or are the clothes just an excuse? An excuse to get rid of any evidence that you might have left there."

Yeah, you win. It got me to stop laughing.

I scoffed at his pathetic behaviour. "It is my fault to think about you. I went there so that you could wear something better after all these days of staying in hospital clothes. But no, instead of saying thanks, please go ahead and suspect me." I threw my hands up in frustration, whereas I really wanted to throw him out of the window.

Before he could say anything, I continued my rant, "And by the way, why are you asking me? Do you really think I would tell the truth even if I went there to get rid of evidence? Why don't you go back to giving me silent treatment while being suspicious of me?"

"Welllll," he shrugged, "you are one who told me that I am allowed to suspect you as long as I am not attacking your character. So now I am going to openly suspect you." He smirked.

'Me and my big mouth,' I cursed myself internally. Not wanting to lose, I threw out irrational words at him.

"Are you sure it is just that? Or is it because you are being considerate of me?"

What the hell am I spewing out?

"You know that I despise your silent treatment. It makes me uncomfortable. So you are being considerate of my likes and dislikes even while still being suspicious of my actions. Wow! What a caring boyfriend I have got." I even went far as to pinch his cheeks.

He shrugged off my hands from his cheeks, before clearing his throat. He didn't scoff or retort like I had imagined. Instead he was avoiding my eyes, like a kid caught stealing a cookie.

Wait! Was my stupid made up scenario actually true?

Was Rehaan actually looking out for me even in the situation where he couldn't trust me?
