A soft, gentle morning breeze flows through Adventure Bay as the sun rises and the birds start their morning song. At the lookout tower, the pups sleep soundly and happily, but Chase and Skye get up early, which is unordinary.

Chase: *yawns* "Uh. What time is it?"

Chase looks at his clock in his dog house and sees that it's 6am. He usually wakes up at 7am, but this time he woke up earlier, which is different, and he wonders why. However, as he ponders, he hears Skye in her dog house next to him yawn. He wonders why Skye is up this early as well.

Skye: (to herself) "Huh? Is it time to get up?"

Chase stretches and walks out of his dog house as the sun starts to rise and walks over to Skye's dog house.

Chase: "You're up pretty early, huh Skye, hehe."

Skye is taken by surprise as she hears Chase greet her.

Skye: "Oh hey Chase, I guess I am. What time is it?"

Chase subconsciously feels attracted to Skye's morning voice out of nowhere and wonders why for a bit before coming back to reality.

Chase: "it's um, 6am right now."

Skye: "Wow. 6am? Geez, why am I up so early? This pup loves her beauty sleep. " *giggles*

Chase: *chuckles* "you sure do, Skye. You usually sleep till like 8 am or something. I'm surprised you're up right now, then again. Why am I up this early, too?"

Skye: "Only you know for sure."

Chase smiles and randomly feels like looking at Skye's body but quickly pushes that thought away and is again surprised why these lewd thoughts are constantly coming into his head. What is going on with him?

Chase: "Do you think the others are awake too? Maybe there's something supernatural going on, hehe."

Skye: *chuckles* "Well, maybe there is. I guess we should check, huh?"

Chase nods and motions for Skye to follow him, and they both walk around the lookout tower to see if any of the other pups are awake as well, but no one else is.

Skye: "Aww, look at them sleep. They're knocked out, hehe."

Chase feels a slight feeling of jealousy even though he never has before when Skye compliments the other pups. He rubs it off and starts to wonder if he should wake them up or not.

Chase: "Should I let them sleep or wake them up? We should be prepared for anything, right?"

Skye: "Yeah, but since it's a little early, let's just let them sleep."

Chase: "I guess you're right. I'd rather have them energized than tired for the day, heh."

Skye: "Well then, what should we do? I'm not tired at all. I'm like fully awake."

Chase: "Me too. I mean, I guess we could take a little walk or something?"

Skye smiles at the thought of walking with Chase or just spending quality time with him.

Skye: "Sure, that sounds good."

Chase lights up in his head and feels a strong feeling of happiness fall over him at the thought of him spending time with Skye which is surprising since, before today, he had never been this excited to hang out with Skye.

Chase: "Great! Let's go. "

Skye smiles at Chase, and they both head closer to the cliffs edge that the lookout tower sits on. Chase sits down next to Skye, and his tail wags happily as they both look out into the crystal blue water that surrounds Adventure Bay.

Chase: "Hey Skye?"

Skye: "What's up, Chase?"

Chase: "I have somewhat of a weird question. You don't have to answer it if you don't want to, I get it."

Skye: (curiously) "Okay, fire away!"

Chase doesn't know why but a question he really wants to ask Skye comes up out of nowhere and is definitely out of the ordinary for Chase, but something inside him wants, no, desires, Skye to answer this question.

Chase: (nervously) "Um, uh, what do you want to do when you uh, retire from the Paw Patrol? Sorry, I know it's weird, but I'm really curious."

Skye stands shocked as this question has never been asked before to her, and it's very surprising, especially coming from Chase, but she understands his concern.

Skye: (thinking deeply) "Well, uh, I really don't know. Honestly, I've never really thought about my life away from the Paw Patrol."

Chase: "That's fine. I know it's a long way away, but I just wanted to ask that, you know? I don't know why, but I wanted to.

Skye: "Oh, no worries, I absolutely get it. we're the oldest pups, so questions about our future will come up. Probably more since we recently turned 8, you know."

Chase nods and feels a burden be lifted from his shoulders that he never knew he had, but he is happy that he got it off his chest.

Skye: "What about you, Chase?"

Chase freezes for a second, but his answer, one that he had no idea he had to the question, pops up in his head.

Chase: "Um, uh, honestly, I kind of want to have a family."

Skye gets super shocked by this answer and, for some reason, pictures Chase as a dad in her head.

Skye: "Wow, really? I mean, I get it, but I didn't expect it."

Chase: "To be honest, me neither, hehe. But yeah, I want to start a family someday."

Skye has a thought run through her mind on how she feels Chase would be as a dad. She honestly feels like he'd do a good job because he's so brave, charming, and knowledgeable. She stops her train of thought as she notices her attraction to Chase getting stronger and tries to push it away, but it keeps coming back, and another thought based on Chase's answer comes through her head. Chase would be a good husband, wouldn't he. Maybe a good husband for me? She quickly pushes her thoughts away and wonders why she's thinking these lewd thoughts about Chase. Is she really starting to like him, like REALLY like him?

Skye: "Well, I'd think you'd make a great dad Chase."

Skye wonders what she just said and why she said it as Chase slightly blushes.

Chase: (slightly flustered) "Oh, uh, really, I mean, thank you." *laughs nervously*

As Skye and Chase continue looking out to the water, they unknowingly start to inch closer together but are interrupted by Marshall.

Marshall: "What are guys doing? And why are you guys up so early?"
