Two days had passed since the Paw Patrol caught the Ruff Ruff Pack and put them away. The pups were busy preparing for Rocky's 7th birthday, determined to make it a celebration he would remember forever.

Zuma: "Wyder, awe the decowations almost done? Wocky might be coming back soon."

Ryder: "Don't worry, Zuma, the decorations are almost done."

Zuma: "I know. It's just that I don't want anything to go wwong today. Wocky tuwns 7! That's a big numbew fow us pups."

Ryder: "Hehe, it sure is."

Meanwhile, Chase and Skye were finishing up Rocky's birthday cake.

Skye: "Chase, be careful with the frosting, it comes out really fast and might take you by surprise."

Chase: "Thanks, Skye, but I think I got it. Steady... steady... There! See? Told you I got it."

Skye: "Hehe, you got some on your face."

Chase: "Oh, I do? Where?"

Skye gently wiped the frosting off Chase's face, smiling at him. Both pups blushed slightly before quickly getting back to work. Before long, the cake was complete. Elsewhere, Marshall and Everest were setting up the snowboard Rocky wanted.

Marshall: "Should we make it green? I mean, it is his favorite color."

Everest: "Um, we can, but I don't know if we have any paint."

Marshall: "Oh, maybe Rocky has some in his truck. He always has the most random things in there."

Everest: "Hehe, I know! It's like he has everything!"

Marshall rummaged through Rocky's truck, tossing out various items.

Marshall: "No, not that... maybe? Oh, never mind... aha! Right here! This looks like a paint can, right, Everest?"

Marshall brought the can to Everest, who inspected it.

Everest: "Yeah, I think it is! Good job, Marshall."

Marshall blushed slightly.

Marshall: "Oh, it's nothing. Seriously, though, he's got so much random stuff in there!"

Everest opened the paint can.

Everest: "We're in luck, it's green paint! Quick, help me paint the snowboard."

Marshall grabbed a brush, and the two began painting together, laughing as they worked. By now, Ryder, Rubble, and Zuma had finished the decorations. The team double-checked everything for the party and waited for Rocky to return to the lookout. A short while later, Rocky arrived, his eyes widening in surprise as he took in the decorations and games.

Rocky: "Wow! I thought the party was later. Thanks, guys! Ooh, that cake looks good!"

Ryder: "Yup, made just for you by Mr. Porter. Happy birthday, Rocky!"

Zuma: "Yeah, happy biwthday, Wocky dude! We got you a pwesent too."

Rocky: "It can't be what I think it is..."

Marshall carried over a snowboard wrapped in colorful paper but tripped on the way.

Marshall: "Whoaaa! Oof! I'm okay, and so is your snowboard, hehe!"

The pups laughed at Marshall's wipeout before realizing he had spoiled the surprise. They all shot him mildly annoyed looks.

Marshall: "What? Oh, did I say snowboard? Oops... sorry!"

Rocky: "Hehe, it's okay, Marshall. I had a hunch, and I was right. My hunches are usually right."

Marshall set the present down in front of Rocky, who was about to open it when Ryder stopped him.

Ryder: "Wait, Rocky, let's sing happy birthday first."

Rubble: "And have cake, hehe."

The pups gathered around the kitchen island where the cake sat. Chase added a big "7" candle, and Skye arranged "Happy Birthday" letters on the cake. Ryder lit the candles.

Ryder: "Alright, pups, everyone ready?"

The pups barked in excitement as Rocky climbed onto a chair, grinning at his cake.

Ryder: "Okay, 1, 2, 3..."

All: "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, dear Rocky, happy birthday to you!"

The pups cheered as Rocky blew out the candles and made his wish.

Ryder: "Since it's Rocky's birthday, he gets the first slice of cake."

Ryder served Rocky a slice, which he devoured with enthusiasm.

Chase: "Wow! Rocky really likes the cake."

Rubble: "That means it's good! Can I have a piece now, Ryder? Please, oh please!"

Ryder: "Alright, pups, whoever wants cake, come get a slice."

The pups eagerly lined up for cake, except Marshall, who quietly slipped away. As the others enjoyed themselves, Everest noticed Marshall's absence and went to find him. She found him sitting on a rock, staring out at the bay with a forlorn expression. Approaching carefully, she startled him by accident.

Marshall: "Whoaaa! Ah! Who's there?"

Everest: giggles "It's just me, Marshall. I didn't mean to scare you."

Marshall relaxed but gulped nervously.

Marshall: "Oh, uh, what are you doing out here? Shouldn't you be inside enjoying cake?"

Everest hesitated.

Everest: "Well... I saw you out here and, um, wanted to see if you were okay."

Marshall blushed slightly but tried to brush it off.

Marshall: "You don't have to worry about me. I'm fine." *laughs nervously*

Everest frowned.

Everest: "Marshall, why are you out here instead of with us?"

Marshall sighed.

Marshall: "I messed up. I dropped the snowboard, spoiled the surprise, and saw how disappointed everyone looked. It made me feel like... maybe I don't belong in the Paw Patrol. I'm always messing up, being clumsy and... stupid."

Everest's eyes widened.

Everest: "Don't ever call yourself stupid, Marshall! Sure, your antics can be a little much sometimes, but that's part of who you are. You make us laugh, you lift our spirits, and you're an amazing pup. You make the Paw Patrol complete. Without you, we wouldn't be the same."

She placed a paw on his shoulder, and Marshall blushed as he gazed into her eyes. For a moment, the world seemed to stop, but Ryder's voice broke the spell.

Ryder: "Paw Patrol to the lookout!"
