Skye brings Chase to the top of the lookout tower, where they overlook the city. Chase wonders why she brought him up here. The sunlight filters through the glass dome, casting a warm glow into the room.

Skye: "Come here, Chase."

She beckons him closer. Chase walks over and sits beside her, gazing out at the Adventure City skyline.

Skye: "It's really beautiful, isn't it?"

Chase: "It is, but... I'm still a little scared of the big city, you know. It makes me feel small, like I can't do anything."

Skye: "Well, being small isn't so bad, you know. Especially coming from me. Hehe."

Chase: "Oh, right. Hehe."

Skye: "I know the city makes you nervous, but maybe I can help with that."

Chase: "How could you do that?"

Skye looks into Chase's eyes, and he looks into hers. Their emotions surge as they lose themselves in each other's gaze.

Skye: "Chase, you're the best pup I've ever met. You're always there for me, and you make me laugh like no one else can. You've shown me that there's hope in being small. Your bravery and confidence lift me up so high. I cherish every moment we spend together. You just... understand me so well. I wanted to say that I... I need you in my life forever."

Chase is stunned at first, but as the sunlight warms their faces, he feels the urge to spill his own feelings for her.

Chase: "Skye, I need you in my life too. You always bring a smile to my face and give me reasons to try my hardest. Just being near you makes me happy. I don't want anything to change that. I want to be by your side until I absolutely can't anymore. You bring me light when I'm in darkness—like when you talked to me after the Scorpio incident. You helped me see that I had changed in a bad way. Honestly, that day when I told you I wanted to be a dad someday... you were the only one I could imagine being with. You're the only one I need."

Their faces draw closer, and they gaze blissfully into each other's eyes, seeing an entire future together. Skye takes Chase's paws in hers and speaks again.

Skye: "I really love you, Chase. So much. More than I've ever loved before. I know right now isn't the best time to start a relationship, but please, please stay with me forever. I want to be by your side until the end of time."

Chase feels deeply moved by her words. The pup he adores, respects, and loves wants him too. She's right—they can't start something now. But he knows, without a doubt, that they're meant to be together.

Chase: "I want the exact same thing, Skye. And you're right—we can't do this now. We have to wait. But I want you to know I'll absolutely be with you until the end of time. I promise."

Skye smiles through misty eyes, her emotions overflowing. She knows she can't have him yet, even though every fiber of her being wants to. She takes a deep breath, reminding herself to be strong.

Skye: "I promise too, Chase. I promise too."

They nuzzle their noses together, their love sparking almost visibly. They know they love each other. They know they'll be together. The light shines furiously on them, as if the world itself acknowledges this moment. After a long embrace, they giggle while holding each other's paws.

Chase: "You know, I've been waiting for this moment for a while. But I'm sure you could tell, Skye."

Skye: "Hehe, yeah, I had a hunch. Did you really think I didn't know?"

Chase: "Honestly, kinda. But it doesn't matter. I'm just glad it finally happened."

Skye: "Do you really want to be with me? You know, when we retire?"

Chase: "One hundred percent. You're perfect for me."

Skye: "Well, this pup is perfect in a lot of ways. Mainly flying."

They laugh together, cherishing the moment they've finally shared.

Chase: "I'd say you're perfect in every way."

Skye: "Blushing. Oh, stop it, Chase. Don't start flirting like crazy—just a little, you know."

Chase: "Was that too much? Sorry if it was."

Skye: "Hehe. Oh, Chasey."

Chase: "Hey, don't call me Chasey... Actually, I kind of like it. Hehe."

Skye: "Let's head back."

Chase: "Speaking of... do you want to keep this a secret?"

Skye: "Well, I'm pretty sure the others already know, but I'd like to surprise them after we retire."

Chase: "You do like surprises."

Skye: "What? They're awesome, aren't they? Hehe."

Chase: "Yeah, I guess. Especially this one."

Skye: "I agree."

They head back to the main part of the lookout tower. The other pups are playing, and Ryder sits at his computer.

Ryder: "Pups! I think I found something!"
