They Grow Up Too Fast (Paw Patrol)

Mission Is A Go

Chase and Skye are taken by surprise by Marshall's remarks and quickly jump away from each other and look at Marshall.

Chase: "Whoa! Marshall, you surprised me." *chuckles*

Skye: "You know I get surprised easily, Marshall." *giggles*

Marshall: "Oh, I'm sorry guys, I didn't mean to scare you. But what are you guys doing up so early." *rubs his eyes with his paw*

Chase: "Honestly, I really couldn't tell you why."

Skye: "Yeah, Chase's right. we both couldn't tell you why, really. But, why are you up, Marshall?"

Marshall: "I don't know, but I think it's because of the breeze, it made me cold, so I just got up."

Chase: "Well, it's 7:30 right now, so the other pups should be waking soon."

Marshall: "Probably not Rubble he can sleep like a bear." *giggles*

Chase: *chuckles* "Yeah, he really can sleep honestly."

Skye: "I know, he takes beauty sleep really seriously, hehe."

Marshall: "Well, I'm gonna go practice my pup-fu. Maybe it'll help me wake up fully. Bye guys, I'll see you later."

Chase and Skye: "See you, Marshall!"

Marshall walks off and practices his Pup-fu under a tree as Chase and Skye look at each other for a second and smile at each other.

Chase: "Well, it was a nice walk Skye. I enjoyed it. But we really should be getting ready for the day."

Skye: "Yeah, it was nice Chase. I guess I'll see ya around."

Skye smiles, and Chase smiles back as Skye walks away and enters her dog house as Chase looks back at the spot, that they were just standing at and contemplates the thoughts he had earlier about Skye. He also reflects on his remark of wanting to start a family eventually. As he thinks this, the thought of Skye being his partner intrudes in and causes Chase to smile, but Chase pushes the thought away.

After an hour, all the pups are up and are playing with each other. Over at the garage of the lookout tower, Ryder and Rocky are both working on their vehicles.

Ryder: "Rocky, pass me the wrench."

Rocky: "Socket or combination?"

Ryder: (in thought) "Um, uh, the socket wrench, please."

Rocky: "You betcha Ryder." *Rocky grabs the socket wrench and gives it to Ryder*

Ryder: "Thanks, Rocky. I just need to tighten this final piece, and I'll have my new exhaust system ready for use." *Ryder tightens the exhaust system on his ATV* "And.......ah...done"

Rocky: "Great, now your ATV won't sound clanky." *chuckles*

Ryder: "Hehe, yeah, thanks Rocky. Say, your birthday's coming up, isn't it?"

Rocky: "Yeah, it's in 3 days, I can't wait!" *Rocky sounds excited about his birthday coming up*

Ryder: (curiously) "Well, what do you want?"

Rocky: "I would really like the new Snowslayer 3000 it's got cool gadgets, and it's super fun to snowboard with!"

Ryder: "Hehe, you love your snowboarding. Well, I'll see what I can do."

Rocky: "I still can't believe I'm turning 7 already. Time really flies by."

Ryder: "It really does. Becoming 7 is a big step, it's your first step into the world of adulting, well, for you pups, that is."
