Y/n noticed Gothi looked sadden and angry by the news Y/n shared. After a small moment, Gothi had hugged her again. Y/n hugged her back, tears pricking her eyes. Gothi wanted to help Y/n in some way, but she couldn't think of anything. It hurt the elderly woman knowing she couldn't fix the damage that happened to her apprentice.
Their moment was interrupted when someone knocked on the door. Gothi pulled back and had Y/n sit as she got the door. Y/n knew who it was by the sound of their voice.
"Is Y/n still in here?" Hiccup asked. "I need to talk to her."
Gothi looked back to Y/n to see she was already up and heading for the door. Gothi stepped aside and let Y/n out. Y/n peeked over and found Hiccup's friends. Her nervousness was quickly apparent amongst them.
"Have you see Liu?" Hiccup asked slowly.
Y/n blinked and glanced up seeing Moonstone gliding threw the clouds, if only just making out her feathers. Liu clearly wasn't wanting to socialize. Y/n picked up on a lot of his habits, and hiding or running was a clear indication of his need to clear his head away from others. Y/n had done it too when she felt scared, or overwhelmed by conversations.
"He'll be back when he's ready," Y/n muttered, eyes shifting from Hiccup's face. "Please excuse me."
Y/n had shut the door before Hiccup could speak. It hurt, but Hiccup couldn't find it in him to be angry or mad. Even so, he was upset. Unsure why she was closing herself off from him. Her best friend, or was. Hiccup's heart cracked at the mere thought.
"Harsh," Tuffnut muttered. "I mean you were both inseparable as kids, but know it's like she doesn't want to be around you."
Hiccup felt his chest squeeze.
"Pack up. We're going to the Edge," Hiccup muttered.
They didn't even need to ask. What Tuff said got to Hiccup. It was clear that where Astrid and Hiccup were standing with their childhood friends, wasn't ever going to be the same again. As they left, they were unaware that Y/n had overheard what Tuff said. Y/n glanced to Gothi who only looked solemn. Sighing, Y/n turned back to Gothi and hugged the elderly woman close.
"I promise to visit," Y/n whispered as she pulled back. "I need to talk to Stoick and Liu."
Gothi nodded and watched Y/n and D/n head for the blacksmith. Gazing up she found Liu and Moonstone gliding down to the blacksmith as well. Gothi felt a smallest bit of her ease knowing Liu was there for her, but she hoped Y/n would eventually have more than just him. Gothi hoped Y/n could rekindle what she had with Hiccup.

Ares noticed the gigantuous dragon thudding along the island. Two large Foreverwing dragons had flown over. Various large dragons had flown by as well, circling the island. Daymos watched next to Ares, eyes shifting. It wasn't til a large dragon emerged, towering over the trees.
"There she is," Ares grinned. "Miss Red Death herself. Queen of the island."
Daymos stared as the dragon reared it's head back before giving a mighty roar that vibrated the air. Dragons seemed to have flocked to her, offering food.
"That thing kept you alive?" Daymos looked to Ares, skeptical.
"She didn't see me as a threat. That doesn't mean she didn't try to eat me the first few times, but after awhile she lost interest," Ares smirked. "Lovely creature though. Hard to believe that there are bigger dragons."
Sharp rumbled and nudged Daymos to get his attention. Daymos silently rubbed the side of her neck before looking back to Ares. His nightfury was watching his dragon with interest.
