A/n: Hey, I would like to note that the events of 'Gold Rush', 'Out of the Frying Pan', and 'Twintuition' have happened off screen. I didn't intend to skip the last one, but editing the episodes aren't easy. Sorry about the skip in that episodes. This chapter is based of another episode from Race to The Edge.

Liu watched from a boulder as Hiccup and Astrid had attempted to train the Triple Stryke, and they hadn't had much success.

"Look out!" Hiccup dodged the three tails narrowly. "Whoa!"

Toothless got in the way, ready to defend Hiccup.

"Toothless, no!" Hiccup warned and noticed Toothless ready to retaliation with a plasma blast. "We're trying to train it."

"Not doing too well with that," Liu muttered as Moonstone wacked him with her tail. "Hey!"

Liu glared at his dragon as Hiccup shot Liu a look.

"You could help us instead of just sitting there," Hiccup retorted.

Liu blinked and looked to Hiccup.

"Haven't ever trained a dragon. Moonstone was Y/n's mothers before she was mine," Liu took a breath trying to keep his emotions in check when he mentioned Y/n. "Moonstone was already trained."

Astrid and Hiccup shared a glance. Liu wasn't wrong. As the Triple Strike snapped it's tails waving mencing, Astrid sighed.

"How are we supposed to train it if we can't get close to it?" Astrid spared Hiccup a glance as the Triple Stryke pinched it's claws.

Liu and Moonstone kept at the ready, but kept put unless they were need. Hiccup and Astrid where grateful, but with this many people and dragons, the Triple Stryke seemed to show no sign of easing up.

"I guess you can't blame it. The last humans it dealt with forced it to fight other dragons to the death," Hiccup frowned.

Liu heard about the dragon fights. Heard of how Hiccup and Toothless were locked up and how Toothless was forced to fight. It unsettled Liu.

"Hiccup, maybe we should make room for the possibility, that the Triple Stryke is just untrainable," Astrid responded, feeling as if they weren't getting anywhere.

"We're making progress. If we could just find a way to get this guy on board have him fighting with us instead of against us," Hiccup assured, wanting to train the dragon.

The Triple Stryke pinched it's claws again roaring menacingly as it stepped forward. Astrid didn't like that.

"Stormfly! Spine Shot!"

The Triple Stryke clicked it's claws, along growing more agitated. Moonstone huffed and ruffled her feathers a bit as Liu shifted to be at a better angle to actually do something if he needed to.

"Look, we've dealt with way worse," Hiccup glanced up at Astrid.

"Snotlout doesn't count," Astrid retorted.

Liu snickered and glanced over hearing a gronkles wing beat.

"Good one, Astrid. I'll have to remember that," Fishlegs chuckled.

"Fishlegs! What brings you to the valley of pain?" Astrid asked, tired of the Triple Stryke.

"Snotlout and the Twins just got back from patrol, and there are multiple storm fronts heading right for us," Fishlegs started. "We need to lock down The Edge before they start to hit."

Liu moved and mounted Moonstone. Liu glanced between Hiccup and the Triple Stryke.

"Okay. We're not done here," Hiccup looked determined as he faced the dragon.
