A/n: This Chapter is based off of Httyd Rtte Season 5. Sorry for the wait, but here it is. I have the other chapters in my drafts to be worked on. Granted not all in my drafts as I still have other things planned along the way.
Anyways hope you enjoy!

Ares, Malani, and Y/n had made it to The Edge with relative ease. Hiccup was quick to update them on all that had happened. From the trial to Daymos's loyalties. It was evident some still had their reservations, but others knew how true Daymos's words were. They knew he'd prove his loyalty when the time came to.

Fishlegs and Snoutlout approach the area, and the twins were quick to hush them.

"No. Shh. Behold," Tuffnut gesture below were Hiccup and Liu were sparring. "Yes. Yeah."

Both being sword wielders, it was truly a test of skill and quick thinking. Liu wouldn't ever deny Hiccup's strength, and he made sure to meet every blow. Hiccup couldn't deny how quickly Liu was able to move, and made sure not to lose his focus.

"Watching these two reminds me of gazing upon the giant water Buffalord as they graze against the tender auspices of the wheat fields of yester-year," Tuffnut continued.

Y/n snorted lightly and tilted her head slightly finding any minuscule mistakes the other may make. Ares had been doing the same as well, but Astrid, Demetrius, and Malani had watched more with interest. Between the dodging and strikes, it didn't take but a moment for their swords to clash once more.

"Call it a draw?" Liu asked, a small smirk on his lips.

"Not on your life," Hiccup snorted.

In that moment, Hiccup was grazed, but had successfully taken the upper hand. Liu blinked and chuckled lightly, dispite the blade near his neck. Hiccup blinked and realized if Liu truly aimed to kill, he'd be dead. Where Hiccup's flamed sword flickered near Liu's neck, Liu's blade grazed Hiccup's side.

"Ooh, yeah!"

"Oh, yeah!"

The twins cheered, flowers showering down. Setting their blades aside, Y/n slipped down and immediately checked both over. Hiccup's cheek had tinted lightly as Liu offered Y/n a assuring smile.

"I assure you I'm okay," Liu patted her arm lightly. "But you have any insight you'd like to share?"

Y/n glanced up to him before making sure Hiccup's side was fine.

"Yeah, don't let your neck be venerable like that when your opponent is striking high at that angle," Y/n turned to him full assured Hiccup's side was fine. "Yeah it leaves them open, but you were too slow. You would've died in a real fight with your opponent would have a chance if brought to a healer fast enough."

Liu nodded lightly.

"Noted. Honestly, you're capabilites to see things as they happen is impressive," Liu smirked. "Speaking of, were are you sparring Snotlout and the rest of us?"

Y/n shrugged and glanced to Hiccup.

"Maybe when you've both improved a bit more. Hiccup had been leaving small openings without the spar," Y/n smirked lightly. "I counted five times Liu could've gotten the upper hand if he paid attention."

"I counted seven," Ares commented jumping down. "But the skill they have is better than many men I've seen. It is impressive."

Hiccup smiled lightly at this as Liu nodded lightly.

"So who's the better swordsmen?" Tuffnut asked.

"I'd say it would be good friend Liu, but our great leader Hiccup Haddock had show very impressive feats as well," Ruffnut grinned.
