Hiccup's friends were searching for clues for were Hiccup was. It was quickly apparent he was kidnapped by bounty hunters. Toothless whined and rumbled as he raced around the island. Sniffing around the hut once more, Toothless paused. Sniffing the ground he found traces of familiar scents.
Cooing lightly, Toothless turned and roared getting Skullcrushers attention. Skullcrusher, nudged Stoick lightly with his wing as he approached Toothless.
"Got something?" Stoick looked to Toothless.
Astrid, the twins, Snoutlout, Fishlegs, Heather, and Atlas approached with their dragons in tow. Everyone watched as Skullcrusher sniffed the area before glancing to the woods, then to Liu's old hut. Skullcrusher growled and sniffed again before turning to the woods. The riders were quick to mount, Stoick glancing to Toothless before mounting him.
Just before they could take off, a white feathered dragon came landing on the island. Her sapphire eyes were looking among them before looking around. Her growls, rumbles, and frantic whines was easy to understand, but the shock that hit everyone was that this was Moonstone. This was Liu's dragon.
Just before anyone could say a word or approach her, a roar from above sounded. Looking up, they found another white feathered dragon, but this one held eyes of amber. D/n. Y/n's dragon.
"Wait, does this mean Y/n and Liu are here?" Tuffnut asked.
"If they were, why aren't they with their dragons?" Ruffnut asked.
"That's a good question..," Tuffnut murmured.
Astrid couldn't say a word as she sat stunned. Liu came back? Atlas, Heather, and Fishlegs looked to her worried.
"We'll find them," Stoick started. "All of them. Let go."
D/n and Moonstone roared loudly before taking off. D/n took the lead as Moonstone followed. Everyone was quick to follow after as D/n growled watching the waters below him. He was determined to find Y/n.

Liu was quick to pull his hands free, his wrist being cut and rubbed raw in the process, but he couldn't find it in him to care. He quickly made sure Y/n was okay as he untied her. Gently laying her down, Liu started untying Hiccup promptly. Liu would have been faster, but his nerves were getting the better of him. Hiccup looked eerily similar to Daymos, but the brown hair had told Liu enough.
When Hiccup was nearly freed, he woke. Jolting awake, Hiccup looked around and near yelled seeing Liu's unfamiliar form. Liu was quick to cover Hiccup's mouth, looking above deck hearing footsteps and muted voices. Liu used his other hand to signal Hiccup to stay quiet before continuing to untie him.
Hiccup stared at him, eyes holding wonder. Liu noticed and felt his chest ache. Liu knew he looked different. His hair had two strands longer than the rest kept in dreads Malani had done for him when he first arrived to the underground village. The rest was short, no longer than Hiccup's. The scars, Liu knew they had seemed to become more prominent.
Beyond that, his build changed drastically. Liu missed when he once had a more stocky build, but now he was thinner. His muscles were still prominent, but not nearly the size they once were. Liu felt he wouldn't ever get it back either. When Hiccup was untied, Liu kept his eyes down as he pulled Y/n into his arms.
She looked different too. She had defining muscles in her arms and legs. She got a bit more build to her since captivity and it was all muscle. Her hair, it was no longer the same as it once was either. It was shorter. Her face, although aged, wasn't too much different. Even so, Hiccup felt she was no less beautiful.
