Where did we go wrong?

Part 3

Magnus and Alec played for more than 3hours.

It's a record for Magnus. He even skipped his favourite afternoon nap, but by the time Asmodeus and Sera were ready to go to Lightwood's house for dinner, boys were exhausted. Magnus and Alec sat on the child safety seats of Asmodeus's car and sera put on their seat belts. Just 5mins to their journey, Magnus and Alec were in deep sleep.

Once Banes arrived at Lightwood's place, Asmodeus carefully took Alec into his hands, and Sera took Magnus into her hands. Asmodeus rang the doorbell to Lightwood's house. Even the loud sound didn't wake up those two up. A woman with tanned skin and dark long hair opened the door. Asmodeus guessed this has to be Mrs. Lightwood as she looked so much like Alec.

"Good afternoon. I'm Asmodeus, I believe Robert is waiting for us."

"Good afternoon. Please come in. Sorry, Robert is taking a shower. Oh my, did Alec fall asleep? That is new. Sorry for all the troubles. " Maryse looked at Sera.

"Mrs. Bane?"

"You can call me Sera. After all our husbands are friends"

"Yes, exactly. Im Maryse, and this must be little Magnus."

"Yeah, both of them played till they passed out."

"We can keep both of them in Alec's bed. It's big enough for them."

"Asmodeus! Hello Sera, " Robert came into the living room.

"Hello Robert!" Both Asmodeus and Sera replied together.

"Alec is sleeping." Maryse looked at Robert's face.

"What? Without you or me? Without Izzy or Jace? That is new. "

"I know, right? This is the first time he slept without any of us around."

"I'm sorry. Let me take Alec, " Robert said as he extended his arms to take Alec from Asmodeuss arms.

"Robert, Alec's bed is ready. Can you put Magnus and Alec into the bed?"

"Yeah, sure.

Sera, let me take Magnus. Please have a seat. We won't be long

"Thank you." Maryse slowly took Magnus from Sera's hands and went to Alec room. Maryse was right. The bed really was big enough for both of them.

Maryse and Robert slowly laid the boys, and as soon as their body hit the soft materials of the bed, they curled up next to each other. Robert covered both of them with Alec's duvets. Maryse and Robert left the room and went to see the Banes.

Two hours went on. No one was there to disturb little toddlers' nap. But Magnus slowly wiggled up and opened his eyes. Magnus has always been a cry-baby. If he couldn't see Mama or Papa when he woke up, he cried till they would come and pick him up. Magnus looked around, and everything looked new. He was still in his sleepy state, so he slowly looked around to find Mama or dada, but no one was there. Magnus was so close to crying. He sniffled as to try and stop his tears, and as he sniffled, something or someone next to him stirred. Magnus looked at the thing next to him and realized that was his new best friend Alesaner.

"Alesaner, Alesaner." Magnus shook the boy who was in deep sleep. After a few shakes, Alec woke up.

"Aha?" Alec shook his head. Then he saw a princess looking at him with tearful eyes.

"Princess?"

"Mom, mom is not here," Magnus sniffled as he looked around the room.

'Mom?' Alec thought. Alec's mind was still not working properly. Alec looked around and realized it was his room.

How did they come here? Maybe princess's fairy godmother brought them here. Alec thought. Magnus held into Alec's shirt tightly as the place he was at looked very unfamiliar.

"Let's go and find them," Alec said.

Alesaner was Magnus's knight, and Magnus trusted his knight. Alec got down from his bed. He had to jump because his bed was kind of tall. Soon after, Magnus followed him. As soon as he landed carefully, he quickly held Alec's hand. Alec gripped Magnus's hand tightly and went out of the room. He heard his mom's dad's voices. It came from the kitchen.

"This way," Alec showed the way. After their big adventure, two boys safely arrived in the kitchen.

"Oh..." It was Maryse who saw Alec and Magnus first.

"Oh god, I forgot." Sera looked guilty.

"Mama..." Magnus's voice cracked.

"You didn't cry!" Asmodeus said. Magnus pulled from Alec's hand and went near his mama. Sera took both boys into her lap.

"Did you sleep well?" Both boys nodded.

"Good." Sera wiped a tear drop on Magnus's cheek and planted a soft kiss on his cheeks. Alec's cheeks were red.

"Who is hungry?" Maryse came near Sera and asked from boys.

"Me," Magnus said shyly.

"Good. We have lots of food." Maryse smiled. Magnus looked at Alec and then at Maryse.

"Pretty," he said.

"Baby, this is Alexander's mom, say hi.

"Hi alesaner's mommy," Maryse melted a bit.

"Can I have him?" Maryse asked from sera.

"Then can I have Alec?" Sera asked back. Both laughed.

"Maybe we can marry those two," Asmodeus said. Robert looked at him with wide eyes.

"Hey, I keep up with the new generation."

"Okay..." Robert said couldn't help but laugh.
