And that's when the fighting started and always, ALWAYS the reason for the fight was James.

"I am sorry, princess; James is in a bad place. Facey asked if I could come with them for dinner.

"Yeah, of course. I will catch up with Ragnor. He asked me earlier to meet up, but I said no since we were going to go out for dinner, ourselves."

"Oh."

"It's okay. You go, Alexander. Hope James feels better soon."

"Magnus."

Magnus sighed. He didn't even have to look at Alec to realise that their plans were getting cancelled again.

"Let me guess, James needs you."

"Magnus, that's .."

"Save it, Alec. I am going home."

Magnus and Alec were walking down the road. New York was as always busy, and something was happening all the time, but with summer around the corner, the city looked pretty for once. Magnus smiled as he looked at the sky. The sky looked so blue without a single cloud on the sky.

"Oh yeah, we are going out for coffee tomorrow afternoon."

"We? I didn't know we were going for coffee tomorrow." Magnus looked at Alec, who was holding his hand.

"By we, I meant, James and I. He needed advice about how to come out to his family, and his family is very conservative."

Magnus sighed. It had come to a point where even James's name sounded like chalk on a board to Magnus.

"And you didn't mention this till now because?"

"I thought I did."

"Oh, you didn't mention it till the last moment, so I wouldn't say much."

"Magnus." Alec sighed.

"Why can't you see he likes you."

"Magnus, he is my friend."

"To him, you are not. How are you, this oblivious Alexander?" Magnus raised his voice as Alec doesn't seem to take him seriously. He needed to get his point across.

"First, he start talking about this boyfriend you have never seen, then he demands to spend time with not anyone else but you, also he is not comfortable having me around, I tried to be nice to both him and Facey but then Facey turn around and tell me that you two make a cute couple. As your boyfriend, how am I supposed to take that? Also, why does it have to be you? Why you, Alec? Why not anyone else?"

Magnus wanted to scream. He wanted to scream and scream at Alec till Alec would see the things as it is. Oh, did Alec just refuse to see things as it is because he wanted that attention from James? Then what about Magnus? Is he done with Magnus? Is this his easy way out of the relationship?

"Oh, am I simply blind? Do you refuse to acknowledge all of this so you can be with him?"

"MAGNUS, STOP!" Alec's voice startled Magnus.

 "He is not leaving?" Magnus felt his patient was going to run out soon.

"Magnus, he needs his friends near him."

"And that friend has to be you?"

"Magnus.." Alec sounded exhausted. He was exhausted. He has been having this conversation with Magnus again and again.
