Where did we go wrong?

Part 4

Soon after, Izzy and Jace joined Alec and Magnus. Alec introduced his siblings to his princess.

"This is Jace. This is Izzy. This is Magnus. He is a princess. "

"He? He is a prince. Not a princess, " Jace argued.

"No...pwetty." Izzy said while staring at Magnus.

"Pwincess," Izzy was still learning how to speak. Jace was confused, but he soon got distracted by food, and he ran to the kitchen as his mom for food. Izzy followed him while holding into her fluffy blue bunny.

"Cartoon?" Alec asked from Magnus.

"Tom and Jerry?"

"We have Tom and jerry," Alec answered and showed Magnus the way to their living room. Alec could turn on the television in the living room, all by himself, and he was very proud of it. Alec turned on the television and found the cartoon channel. Magnus's eyes widened as he saw how Tom was chasing after Jerry.

Alec showed Magnus the sofa. Once Alec helped Magnus to get into the sofa, Alec sat down next to Magnus. Magnus and Alec held their hands as they started watching Tom and Jerry.

"Oh, someone is having fun," Maryse said when she saw Magnus and Alec. But boys' eyes were glued to the tv screen. They didn't even look at Maryse. Sera came to the living room soon after that, and she was holding Izzy. She was surprised to see that boys were watching cartoons as she didn't see any adults turning on the tv for them.

"Who turned on the television?"

"Alec knows how to." Maryse answered Sera. As the boys were in their own world, Maryse and Sera sat on the sofa that was facing the sofa Magnus and Alec were sitting on.

"You don't hide the remote controller?"

"No, not really. He doesn't turn it on all the time, so we leave the controller somewhere he can reach."

"Aww.I really want Alec to be my son, and I'm not even joking." Sera cooed. Her heart was turning into a puddle as she watched Magnus and Alec.

"Let's see how things will happen in the future, I can give him as a son in law if you give me Magnus as my son in law" Maryse chuckled. Izzy wiggled to try and escape from Seras' hands. She wanted to watch a cartoon with her big brother and pwincess.

Two families bonded quickly, which was good for Magnus and Alec because they have got so close within just a few days. They went on play dates almost every day. Since Maryse and Sera both worked from home most of the time, they were able to find time to take the children on play dates during the daytime.

"Alec takes time to open up to people. Not like Jace and Izzy, " Maryse and Sera were sitting on a bench on the playground.

"It's amazing how he and Magnus bonded that quickly."

"Yes. Mags, too. He may act all cute and adorable in front of people, but he doesn't believe them. All his games are on as long as he is with me or Asmodeus. We thought he would miss best friend Catarina, and he was upset for the first few days, but after meeting Alec, he is back to his playful self. He mumbles Alecs name even in his sleep." Sera chuckled.

"Really? That is so adorable. Send me a video next time.

"For sure."

Alec, Izzy, and Magnus made a sandcastle, which looked more like a rundown house, while Jace ran around the playground with his imaginary sword. Soon after, the other three also joined Jace. Toddlers just had too much energy. Playing for more than three hours didn't seem to do anything to their energy level. While Sera and Maryse were tired just by looking at them.

"Don't you want another kid?" Maryse asked from Sera. She regretted her question as soon as she asked it as Sera looked upset.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.

"No, it's okay, Maryse. It's just that me or Asmodeus, we are not lucky enough to have another one. But god has given us a child worth more than 100s.

"That's true." Maryse put her hand on Seras shoulder and tapped as to comfort Sera.

"Magnus is going to be a great kid, I am looking forward to what he will be like in the future. Also, I love my kids, but look at me. I am tired all the time because of all the lost sleeping hours. While you look absolutely amazing, "

"Do you want me to comment on your figure. If Izzy takes after you, I'm sure it'll be very hard to keep suitors away from her in the future, " Maryse laughed at Seras' comment.

"Well, thank you." Maryse meant it. Sera looked at her phone as she felt a vibration.

"Oh, Asmodeus is home."

That means Robert will be home soon as well. So, who is going whose home today?" Maryse asked because if they tried to separate the toddlers, they definitely were going to throw a tantrum.

"Magnus at your place?"

"YES!" Maryse cheered. Maryse adored Magnus so that even the thought of taking Magnus with her made her feel delightful.
