"That was so not funny." Magnus grabbed a magazine from Alecs bed stand as he sat down on the bed. Not that he was going to read the magazine, it is one of those habits he has.
"I was going to explain, but you were here before I could tell anything."
"I was so worried about you bastard,"
"Sh... and language."
"Aha, well, sorry for being worried about my best friend." Magnuss said sarcastically.
Alec looked Magnus and smiled softly.
"Thank you for caring about me, Mags." Magnus sighed.
"Well, you are welcome." Magnus smiled back.
"Argh..." Magnus stretched like a cat and laid on Alecs bed. Alec was still sitting on the edge of the bed.
"So, now you can go on dates with cute guys since mom and dad know."
"I dont have anyone to go on dates with."
"Oh, come on, Alexander. I have seen how Andrew looks at you. He is cute. It's not my type, though, but yeah, he is handsome."
"I only see him as a guy in our class."
"Then, is there anyone you like?" Magnus asked the question he was afraid to ask all these days. Alec looked at Magnus before answering. Alec also laid next to Magnus.
"I do, actually. Magnus quickly turned to Alecs side.
"Who???? Who is that, Alexander?"
Alec turned to Magnuss side.
"Well, I can't tell."
"Oh, come on... you can tell me anything."
"No..."
"Come on..."
"Okay, I won't tell his name, but I can tell a bit about him."
"Hmm..."
"So, he is cute, like really cute... and I can be myself around him. And um..." Alec kept on talking about his crush, but Magnus was not listening. He really tried to pay attention, but he felt this unpleasant taste in his mouth, and he felt as if his heart was getting torn into pieces.
"I'm really happy for you, Alexander. I am sure whoever get you as their partner is going to be the luckiest person in this world, and you deserve all the happiness in this world. I hope they will value you just as much how I value you." Magnus managed to smile for his best friend.
"Thank you, Magnus. It means a lot." Alec looked at Magnuss face and smiled. Magnus thought he saw a sad smile on Alecs face.
"Anyway, I'm tired from all that running." Magnus yawned.
"Well, mom will call for food anytime now."
"I'm just gonna close my eyes for a second. Wake me up me when dinner is ready."
"Okay. I'm going to the living room, then." Alec got up from the bed and kissed Magnuss forehead before leaving the room. Magnus smiled without opening his eyes.

"Where is Magnus?"Maryse asked when she saw Alec in the kitchen.
"He is taking a nap."
"Nap?"
"Yeah, he said he is tired from all the running."
"Oh, let him sleep then. I dont think he will wake up for dinner."
"No, he asked me to call him for dinner."
"Alec, you know how he is when he sleeps."
"Guess you are right, mom."
