Where did we go wrong?

Part 24

Alec woke up early to fix some breakfast for Magnus and him. Normally he would skip breakfast and would have a granola bar on his way to lectures as he preferred sleeping bit longer but with Magnus in his bed, all he wanted to do was spoil Magnus as much as he could. Before he started making any pancake, he decided to wake up Magnus with a coffee with a lot of milk and an orange juice. Alec walked to his room from the shared kitchen to see Magnus shaped burrito in his bed. Alec chuckled as all he could see was a bit of Magnus's hair.

Alec carefully put down the tray with their drinks on the bedside table and looked forana opening in the Magnus burrito. But Magnus has years of experience in turning into a bedsheet burrito, and it was not going to be an easy task for Alec. Alec slowly pulled down the duvet just enough to see Magnuss face. Hecouldn tt helped himself but chuckle as he saw Magnuss hair sticking out in alldirectionsn. Magnus alsodidn'tt seem to be very happy about the fact that his face was getting colder and there was sunshine coming from the window.

"Gr.." He groaned.

"Good morning, sleepy head." Alec pressed a soft kiss on Magnus's forehead.

"No.." Magnus whined.

"Rise and Shine Princesss,Mama and Papa are  going to pick us up in 2 hours, and I am planning to make some pancakes for us soon." Alec explained the agenda for the day as an attempt to try and get Magnus get u,  but instea,  Magnus just scrunched his nose and snored.

"You and I, we both know you are not sleeping. If you dont open your eyes, I might tickle." Alec leaned in and said softly. Even though his voice was soft, Magnus knew Alecwasn'tt kidding.

"You wouldn'tt dare." Magnus opened one of his eyes and looked at Alec. He was still pouting his lips.

"Bet your perfect English ass, I am going to do it." Alec winked.

"Don't you dare, and I am not English!" That woke up, Magnus.

"See,  I am all up now." Magnus pushed the duvet down enough that his black tank top was on display.

"Not really,  but come and join me in the kitche until  I make pancake?" Alec gave magnus a hand to sit up on the bed.

"Hm.."  Magnus hummed as he gave Alec a quick peck on the lips.

"Let me wash my face quickly and come and join you."

"Okay, do you want me to take your coffee with me?"

"No, leave the coffee, but take the orange juice with you. Thank you for the coffee and the orange juice." Magnus gave the sweetest smile, which seemed to melt Alec a little bit.

"Sure." Alec kissed Magnuss cheek before he got up from the bed.

Magnus observed Alec as he left the room,  and he felt like he was living a dream. Night after night,  Magnus dreamt about waking up with Alec but got his heart broken when he woke up to a cold bed. After a year, they finally got to wake up in the same bed again,  and Magnus wanted to savour every single second of it.

They had a busy day ahead. His Mama and Papa let him spend the first day back in New York with Alec,  but of course, they were going to pick him up later for dinner. Alec and Magnus were planning to spend the weekend at their parent'  place. Fortunately, they got permission to spend most of the summer at Alec's   apartment near his university. They were looking forward to spending time together and another perk of staying at Alec's apartment was that all his housemates were planning to go back to their own places for the summer and that meant magnus and Alec were going to have the apartment to themselves. Magnus was so excited to be living with just Alec during the summer. Getting permission from parents was a nightmare. Asmodeus was the most difficult to get permission from, but it was well worth it.
