Camille never expected to hear the word bitch from Alec. Alec was famous being a gentleman. Her expressions went from pure surprise to proper anger. Of course, Alec enjoyed every second of that.
"Wh..what did you call me?" Camille spat.
"Bitch. I called you bitch. Is there a problem? Well, you know what? I don't care even if you have a problem." Alec hold Magnus tightly and turned before anyone could say anything.
Magnus was completely drunk, and people's stares made Alec uncomfortable.
"What the fuck are you looking? Alec glared at people who were observing them viciously, before leaving Camilles place.
Little by little, with help of Alec, Magnus able to walk. Alec couldn't take Magnus home in this condition.
Sera and Asmodeus would have a heart attack if the saw Magnus like that. Alec looked around and saw a bench. Before, doing anything Alec decided to sit down and think what he can do. He had to do something. Anything. Alec carefully led Magnus to the bench and once Magnus safely sat down, Alec took his phone out from his pocket.
Alec's breath stopped when he saw the missed calls from his mom and dad. But it's not like he could call them now. Alec decided to call Jace. He needed his brother's and sister's help.
"Alec! Did you find Magnus? How is he? Where was he?" It was Izzy who answered the phone.
"I found Magnus. He is with me."
"Thank the Angel. Let me talk some sense to him"
"Izzy, Magnus can't talk now. He is not in a position to talk."
"What's going on?" Jace asked finally.
"Magnus is completely drunk. I can't take him home like this. What should I Do?"
"Drunk? Is he out of his damn mind? are you fucking kidding me? What is wrong with him? Jace and Izzy both were cursing by now.
"Stop screaming you two. Tell me what I should do?"
"Ragnor! take him to Ragnor's place." Jace suggested.
"Yeah, stay at his tonight. We can distract parents till tomorrow morning. You call and tell mom that you are with Magnus"
"Good idea Izzy. Thanks. I'm gonna hang up now. Bye" Before Izzy and Jace could say anything Alec hanged up and called Ragnor quickly. Fortunately, Ragnor answered the phone. Alec quickly explained what happened and Ragnor was happy to keep Magnus for a night. After all, Ragnor was Magnus's high school best friend. Ragnor asked Alec to take taxi from where they are, and he said he'll pay for the taxi. Alec was extremely grateful. As Alec left the house in pyjamas, he did not have any cash with him. And he was still wearing house slippers. Alec was not in a mindset to change the shoes before he left the house.
After the call Alec looked at Magnus who was sitting on the bench. More like sleeping on the bench. Magnus was snoring softly. He was completely oblivious to the cold weather or car horns or anything. Alec couldn't help but smile. After booking a taxi Alec slowly sat next to Magnus. He was being careful not to wake Magnus up. Magnus's head was bobbing so Alec slowly placed Magnus's head on his shoulder. Alec looked at sleeping Magnus. Alec sighed deeply.
"You idiot" Alec whispered to Magnus before placing soft kiss on top of Magnus's head.

"Mom"
"ALEXANDER! where are you?"
"Im sorry mom. I'm at Ragnor's place. With Magnus. He is sleeping though. Looks like he forgot to tell. He is safe and well, he is sleeping now.
"Wake him up." Sera's voice came through the phone.
"But... But mama, he is snoring. He is sleeping so peacefully. I can't wake him up when he is like that. Can I?" Alec was running out what to say.
"I don't care. Wake that brat right now!" Sera was beyond the angry point. She was fuming.
"Bu.. But mama"
"Sera, calm down" Alec heard Asmodeus's voice.
"I think Magnus did mentioned something like going to Ragnor's place. I wasn't listening carefully. It's my fault. Don't yell at Alec" Asmodeus said and Alec just wanted to hug Asmodeus for saving Alec and Magnus. But he knew Magnus had to answer his father later. But for now, this is more than enough.
"What?" Sera asked. Alec was listening to the parents conversation through the phone.
"How could you?" "Sera s voice cracked when she tried to talk. Soon after she started wailing. Only a mother can be that strong and weak when it comes to their kid. Alec's heart broke when he heard Mama's crying.
Im sorry." Asmodeus sounded so weak.
"Sera, please dont cry." Alec heard his mom's voice.
Now we know where Magnus is, and he is with Alec and Ragnor. Now, let's not worry about anything. Shall we?" Maryse was trying her best to calm down, Sera.
"Yeah, let's talk to him tomorrow. You know how cranky Magnus gets when you wake him up. Now let's him sleep. We can talk to them tomorrow." It was Robert.
Alec? Maryse voice came through the phone.
Yes mom Look after Magnus for us, okay? If you need anything, give us a call, okay? We will come and pick you up in the morning.
Thank you, mom. Alec sighed.
Also, one more thing. For leaving today without telling you, you are grounded for the next two weeks. No archery or anything."
"But mom..."
"No buts Alexander Gideon Lightwood. Now go to sleep. See you tomorrow.
"Okay, mom," Alec felt defeated. No archery for two weeks. He felt sick. Finally, he hung up the phone and looked at Magnus on bed.
"He puts everyone in trouble," Alec heard. Alec turned and looked at Ragnor.
"He is gonna get a hell of a hangover tomorrow. Let's try to keep him as hydrated as possible as we can. Did he throw up?"
"No."
"He will. But he will feel better after that, " Alec just nodded.
"You seem confused. So, you never went through a proper hangover before?"
"No. I don't drink.
"Hmm... Good. Do you want anything? I'm gonna sleep. I need my beauty sleep.
"No. Thanks a lot, Ragnor."He is my best friend too. You don't have to thank." Ragnor left before Alec could say anything.
Alec got up from the bed and covered Magnus's body properly with the duvet. Then he called and updated his brother and sister about what happened. Finally, he was ready to sleep. Magnus still seemed to be deep sleep. Sleeping in the same bed was not something new for them, and Alec had to keep an eye on Magnus during the night. So, he laid next to Magnus. Magnus smelt so much like alcohol. But still, Alec could smell that honey and vanilla scent Magnus always had.
"Good night, princess," Alec said before closing his eyes.
