'yes, two of your special chaats.' He ordered and sat in front of me. I held his arm and looked at the scars and cuts once more. I wish I could punch him in his face for his carelessness because the cut on his hand pained me way more than it did to him.
'tchh.' He made that sound and pulled his arm back 'come on Tia, it's okay!' how are boys always so chill about things?
'No it's not-'
'Tia-'
'-No.' I cut him short.
'Do you really want to fight over this?' he asked.
You idiot, it's not called fighting, it's called taking care!!!
'Your this habit will-'
'-Shhhh!' he keeps a finger on his lips, 'Mention this once more and I'm not talking to you for a week!"
What? Is he showing tantrums? I mean, are boys even allowed to show tantrums?
'You won't talk to me for a week huh?' I ask, raising my brows.
'mm.' he lightly nods, one with innocence.
I sigh. (one universal truth- male best friends have more tantrums than females. FACT.)
'What did you do at school today? Anything new?-' he asked.
'-Don't even ask!' I cut him short, 'I am literally exhausted by telling people that I-don't-know-why- Sam-is-absent!! Firstly I was so tensed why you weren't there, and on top of it, people kept asking me every now and then. Literally everyone from the class asked me during the recess, about you.' I said.
He laughed 'You're best friend of a popular guy, what else do you expect from people?'
'Huh! You? and popular? My foot. Your topper-tee is the reason why people notice you!' I argued.
'Come on! You're just jealous of my fame!' he said and smirked.
'Oh you think so?' I asked.
'What else! That kitten roaming around the washroom is even more noticeable than you!' he said, and laughed.
'Kitten? Really?' I roll my eyes. That is his favorite thing by the way- to talk shit about me all the time. Huh!!
'Yes.' He said.
'Oh shut up. Actually today something happened which you should've been present for.' I said.
'What?' he asks.
'Today, Basu sir was talking to us about what streams everyone's gonna choose after 10th. And he was also giving suggestions to some clueless ones like you.' I said.
'Oh thank god I was absent!' he quickly said and sighed in relief.
'Mister, you should've come because you never yourself think about it at all, do you? So hearing Basu sir talking about it would've helped you out in some sense; have some clarity.' I said.
'You think I'm gonna rely on that Basu's advice for what makes my life? Not even in my dreams!' he rolled his eyes.
'Oh shut up, he has more experience than you, and has seen more students than you in his life.' I say.
'That Basu? he's an actor,' he laughs 'that too a bad one.'
I sigh, and cross my legs.
'He is doing all this because his syllabus has been completed and he has to complete his lecture time! That's it. Don't think he CARES for you or anyone in this class!' he says
