Rebuking the Enemy

I rebuke the enemy's lies, and exchange them for Your truths, O Lord.

You have joy, peace and love to spare.
Blessings, mercy and promises galore.
But how can I be so sure?
Because Your word tells me so, and You cannot tell a lie. The enemy however, not only lies, but is the father of such evil. This for sure, I despise.

He twists Your words, provokes our spirits, calls out our weaknesses and temps us to no end. Even worse, Lord, he pretends to be a light. He is a deceiver and nothing more.
I rebuke him and all the wickedness he stands for.

I rebuke lies about my worth. I rebuke the lies that I'm forsaken. I rebuke his wicked schemes to turn me from the Most High. He should know by now that I won't leave You. I'm Your servant till the day I die.

I rebuke his confusion. I rebuke the fear he tries to plant in me, because in Your love, I have no reason to be afraid. With You, I'm free.

In You, I have happiness. I have the truth on my side. With You, I can learn to take the bumpy ride.

In You, I'm loved and valuable. I'm a child of the One True King and am blessed beyond belief. You give me spiritual weapons to fight my enemy, and make his visits brief. I will resist him and he will flee from me.

I rebuke the enemy's lies, and exchange them for Your truths, O Lord
