Lord, You've proven Yourself the perfect Father. You call all those who put their faith in You, Your children.
What a great honor. What have we possibly done that makes us worthy of such a title? The answer? Nothing.
You love us and it's Your greatest pleasure to welcome us into the House of the Lord. Where we have joy and peace forever more.
You are the Father of Jesus, our Savior. And through Him, I'm Your child too. I share in the inheritance of Your only begotten Son, Who has no sin.
You care for me. You love me. You created me. You never leave me nor forget about me. My cries, praises and prayers reach Your ears.
You're never too far from me. Even when I don't feel You, You're there. You keep Your promises, You protect me from things both hidden and known. Your mighty hand holds me up and You keep me from slipping.
You discipline me, encourage me, teach me, love me and have great plans or me. What a great Father You are.
So, Lord, I want to wish You a Happy Father's Day. Thank You for adopting me into Your family. I can't list all the ways You show Your greatness, but You know my heart as I write this.
I love You and appreciate You being in my life and saving me. You're the best Father- unchanging, eternal, righteous, and merciful. You don't just have love, You are love.
