Thanks to the One who has continuously saved me from myself.

Lord, when I'm weak, You're power shines through. When You save me from my own self, You glorify Your Name. Because I know there is nothing I did to have done it.

When I was stuck in sadness and bound to the lies of the enemies, lies that were causing my spiritual life to suffer, You pulled me back. I couldn't do it myself. I didn't have the will power. I didn't have the courage. I didn't have the strength. I think even some part of me wanted to stay and wallow in the dark place I was in.

But You spoke through people. Sermons, my friends from fellowship. You spoke through what I was seeking. People. Instead of You. I was afraid to face You. I was believing so many lies about You and about myself. So I tried to find satisfying comfort through others. And while they were kind and wonderful, it wasn't fulfilling as Your comfort would've been.

Thanks to the One who called me back to Him. Lord, You have proved Yourself good over and over again. I should've never doubted. I shouldn't have been in that position, but I let the world conform my mind. The enemy got a foothold in my life.

Thanks to the One who renewed my mind. With truth. With joy. With peace.

Thanks to the One who gives me a peaceful spirit. Who gives my mind a place to rest, in the arms of the Father. Who gives me meaning.

Thanks to the One who has set me apart. Who gave me a purpose to follow out. To accomplish for the Lord's sake. He gave me a purpose only I can fulfill. He has given me a reason to live. Something to do with my time on this Earth. To do something bigger than myself. To help build His Kingdom. To show others His love.

Thanks to the One who has given me forgiveness and mercy more times I can count. His love for me nourishes me and fills me. My Spirit rejoices in it. His grace upon me quenches my thirst. I'm always in awe of His kindness. He keeps revealing it to me. Even now, He is trusting me with His goodness in showing it to me in huge ways.

What a wonderful Savior we have. What a wonderful Father I have in God.

Thanks to the One who loves me and whom I love.
