Surrender

I finally see a silver lining peaking out from all the darkness that clouded me, blinding me.

God's light is magnificent and always shines through, in the end. He holds victory over all, let's add another to the list.

I was blinded by Satan's temptations and traps and I stumbled into each one of them.

But not anymore.

Not again.

I feel the peace and joy of truly talking to my God. My Savior. My Guide, the Holy Spirit.

Talking to You, Lord, at work today was special. I feel better. I feel good. I feel heard. I thank You for everything.

I know I was really emotional a while ago, thinking it was too late for me. I was down and out. Didn't see anyway out. I thought it was the end for me.

But it isn't.

Because nothing and nobody could separate me from the love of God. I'm so grateful You pulled me back to You, Lord. You always rescue me.

Now, I feel the start of my motivation coming back. The longing to reach people. The zeal to pray for people. To longing to live my life committed to You no matter the cost.

I'm so thankful You are true to Your promises. I've doubted them before. But I never will again, because I've seen how You stand by them, unmoved. You can't lie as humans do. You aren't man that You should not deliver on Your word.

I'm forever indebted to Your goodness. I'll forever tell about how sinful I am in nature and how perfect You are. I've seen it up close, first hand and I'm glad I am able to witness such power.

Thank You, Lord, for giving me hope. I believe in the power You hold and in the power of prayer. I believe that You'll deliver me from my chains. I know You'll forgive me and help me to stand before You unashamed.

You made me to glorify You, to please You and live for You. You made me to love You and to be loved by You. Its a beautiful thing; to be called by the Most High.

Thank You, God, for never giving up on me. For helping me. For turning what the enemy meant for evil and turning it for good.

I hope to move on from my past faults and mistakes and use them to help others who struggle. You'll bring it about for Your glory, somehow.

If it's in Your will, it'll happen. I pray that You restore me. To make me grow stronger than I've ever been. To be totally and completely surrendered to You.

Lord, I surrender my heart to You.

Lord, I surrender my thoughts to You.

Lord, I surrender my actions to You.

Lord, I surrender my strength to You.

Lord, I surrender my life to You.

You're all I want in this world. Help me to rely on You only.

I love You and am forever grateful You've chosen me. May my life bring glory to Your wonderful Name.
