After Joe brought Shantelle back downstairs to their bedroom, he sat her down on the bed gently and kissed her stomach which held his child, even though he was burning inside with rage. Joe was so angry, that he couldn't speak. He was trembling as he ran his hand through his hair and he began to pace the room like a caged tiger. Every so often, he would stop and stare at Shantelle and growl.

All Shantelle could do was watch her enraged husband pace back and forth, growling and breathing hard, while never taking his eyes off of her. Those eyes that seemingly burned a hole into her very core. She didn't dare say anything while he was in this state. She thought that if she did it would only make the situation worse.
After several minutes, he stopped pacing and pulled a chair up and sat down in front of her and continued to glare at her, his brown eyes, now bloodshot, blazing with anger and his lips twitching rapidly as they often did when he was pissed off.
