Bakugo POV:
I leaned against the closed bathroom door and sighed. I turned on the faucet of the bathtub, got undressed and started cleaning myself with a wet towel and some soap. Once the tub was full I got in and leaned back into the steaming water. This felt nice. For a moment I just relaxed. Then I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I submerged my head and waited for my air to run out. This had to work, right? My head felt as though the pressure of the water would squash it. I automatically started panicking but tried to relax. My body reacted immediately trying to push myself above water level but I resisted. Once I finally succeeded in releasing all the air left in my lungs suddenly my body felt as though it was floating. All the uncomfortable pressure disappeared.
Instead of the water I suddenly felt fluffy clouds packed in soft fabric around me. I opened my eyes. Huge pillows and blankets were surrounding me. I pushed some off of me and there he was. Right next to me. "Shitty hair, wake up." his forehead wrinkled and he squeezed his eyes shut. "C'mon, dufus." I shook him awake. "Mhmm, Kats?" He was barely awake. "Hey stop sleeping extra. We don't have a lot of time. Otherwise I'll drown." "Huh?" "I said, get up!" Shitty hair slowly sat up. "Oh, I'm here again." "Let's get straight to the point. Have you discovered any new hints?" "Oh, right..."
Shitty hair and I continued discussing all of wich the both of us had discovered so far and came to following conclusion:
About 18 years ago five students of the Isamu Academy High School, another popular Hero school, fell into a coma one after the other after complaining about headaches, burning chests and heavy legs not to long before. Because of those symptoms it was marked as some new sickness for about one year. But because in the span of that year no one found medical proof of them being sick it was finally declared as a villain attack. Multiple Heroes and even civilians with mind reading and manipulation quirks tried getting into the comatose students heads to find out more. But with no results. All they found were confusing dreams and mindless thoughts. Some even started screaming in pain and passed out as if something was keeping them out of the students heads. After continued efforts to get into their heads and even some success the task force operating back then, came to the conclusion that those five must be trapped in an absurd dream together.
Then one day four out of the five student suddenly suffered from failing organs and were only minutes later declared brain dead. It was later found out that apparently all five students were convinced that they had to die in order to wake up. But instead of suicide they had to slaughter each other leaving one behind. After the fifth students condition didn't change over the next couple years and there was not enough evidence to connect this case to similar ones the government decided it would be better to let gras grow over these events and the task force was forced to close the case unsolved.
From what Deku had told me earlier we concluded, that the event of those four dying and Horseman's story were probably connected. Those five must've been in a similar situation we are. They tried escaping and apparently also managed to. At least getting to the exit. But for some reason they couldn't pass. We have experienced that the Spectator is able to control our minds back when we were still at the cabin and IcyHot nearly convinced that shooter to kill him. So the only plausible explanation is that for some reason the Spectator wanted them to find the exit but not escape. That must mean he doesn't know where it is himself. But isn't this HIS world? And where is the fifth student now? He must still be in here somewhere. Maybe the guy IcyHot and Deku had been attacked by right after waking up here?
And then there is this Boy, Arlo. He most definitely came from this dream world and is now stuck in someone else's body. But in the real world. He was there when the four students died. He got out instead of them. Was that the Spectators plan? That didn't make sense. He was just an ordinary eight year old boy. The only plausible explanation left was that the Spectator himself tried to get out. Wich would mean he is trapped in here the way we are. Maybe not exactly considering he has partly control over us and his minions.
The reason why he didn't manage to escape about 17 years ago but Arlo did must mean that somehow Arlo took his place? There was still so much we didn't understand. But if the parts we assumed would be correct then that meant that 18 years ago before the first incident happened the Spectator got stuck in his own quirk meaning he had only few control over it from the inside. That's why he needed to pull others in here to find the exit for him. And the reason he tried to get rid of as many of the five student must mean he didn't want any chance of them getting trough the exit before him. Wich Arlo did instead. That meant he took... the only- No right? There isn't just one spot to getting out... No, there is no way! That couldn't be true. Even if it had been something changed in the last couple of years otherwise we three wouldn't be here. Maybe now more than one can escape. No, I was sure of it!
Deku had spoken to fake tail guy. He said that we had to fix parts of this world in order to get out, meaning that's the key to the exit. Maybe the other students just didn't fix enough. We on the other hand already fixed a bunch by now. Starting with the cabin we cleaned up to it's original state. Then Silverbrook: we got the old man his mermaid, got rid of the pirates and fixed the issues of the poor wing. We also got that bar tender IcyHot befriended his woman back. But then again is the quantity really relevant?
"Kats? You okay?" I looked over to shitty hair. "Don't worry! You're Katsuki Bakugo after all! You'll find a way! If anyone can do it then you." I rolled my eyes "Of course. Who do you think I am?!" He giggled. "I missed you." He looked at the pillows around us with a sad expression. "I'll be back in no time so don't pee your pants." I heard him sniffling. "Stop weeping you cry baby!" "Sorry." I sighed. "I promise I'll be back, okay?" He looked at me then he looked away again and said: "I know. It's just ... been really difficult without you... without all of you I mean. A lot has changed and I don't like in what direction it did. I don't know, I just missed you... I guess." He rubbed the tears out his eyes. "I missed you to Eiji." He looked at me once more this time with a slightly surprised expression. "Alright, this is an exception. A once in a live time! You hear me?!" Shitty hair looked confused. "Wha-?" I got closer and wrapped my arms around that body of his wich looked as if it had fallen in on itself. "What are you...?" I heard another sniff before he hugged me back holding me as tight as he possible could. "I'll come back home soon. I promise!" For a moment we stayed like that. Then suddenly the sheets under us started to feel cold and damp. We let go of each other and immediately realised the room had started being flooded by water again. It had reached up to the bed already and wouldn't take much longer to fill up the entire room. "It's time." I looked over to shitty hair once more. "Yeah. Good luck Katsuki. Stay save." I smiled. "You too..."
