Bakugo POV:
We were all sitting in a different corner oft the hotel room. Deku on the arm chair, IcyHot on the bed and me on the floor next to the entrance door, leaning against the wall. No one said anything. Deku was avoiding eye contact and IcyHot looked back and forth between us. He was starting to visible get pissed at the way we were acting. "So, ..." after a few more seconds Shoto broke the silence. "Are we all agreeing to gett this out of the world now so we can move on?" His calm tone sounded slightly passive aggressive. I looked over to Deku. He nodded as an answer to IcyHots question. Shotos eyes turned to me. His eyebrows were raised and he was waiting for an answer from me as well. I agreed and he continued. "Let's start with you Izu. You said that yesterday Kats tried apologising, right? But it wasn't enough for you. Today you avoided any contact with him. What do you wish Kats would do to make it up to you?" It looked as if someone had dimmed the light in dekus eyes the moment Sho was finished. "Are you not upset at all at what he did yesterday?" Deku asked IcyHot. He hesitated. "Well of course I'm worried but after what happened I know he won't repeat his mistake so more than anything I'm just glad he's okay." Deku seemed surprised but didn't argue back. In the contrary he seemed to be considering his side of view.
Shoto looked at me again. "Kats are you going to do anything like that again?" Without any hesitation I answered: "No. I'm aware that it was stupid. I guess I just wanted to hurry and see Kirishima but you were right there so I could have just asked for help. I won't do it without someone watching me again. Promise." Shoto smiled with relief but Deku wasn't quite satisfied yet. "So, would you do it with strangers?" "That's what she said." The moment I had finished that joke I immediately could feel four murderous eyes piercing through my skin. I sighed with a grin on my face. "Fine, fine I take it back. I won't visit Kirishima without either of you being by my side. Only in absolute extreme situations where I have no other choice and even then someone I know well enough has to be present. That fine for you?" Deku grunted. Shoto looked at him, patiently waiting for a decision or suggestion concerning what else should be done. Finally Deku nodded . "I guess that's good enough for now." Shoto seemed relived.
Before our conversation could get any further the entire cruise started shaking. As suddenly as it had started, it was already over again. The ship's engine and gearboxes were suddenly completely silent. Not a sound. No whirring, no rattling, nothing. Complete silence. Even the slight rocking caused by the wind and waves had stopped. But the calm didn't last long. Suddenly the room tilted. I slid off one wall until I had to lean on the opposite one. Deafening noise. It was like putting your ear right next to old, rusty railway tracks while a train passed overhead. The ship was moving again. It seemed as if it was being pushed or pulled onto something. Deku carefully got off the armchair and slid over to the bed. Shoto caught him and they quickly moved into the corner of the bed. IcyHot held on to Deku while he held onto the bed frame. For at least a couple minutes this continued. Then without a warning the ship suddenly tilted back. A much quieter clicking noise followed the shrill squeal of the rails. Suddenly there was one last slightly louder 'clack' and our room door opened.
All three of us stared at the door. Nothing happened except the sounds of sudden commotion outside our room. I got up and looked at the other two. Then I slowly walked over to the door to take a peek. The hallway was filled with different creatures one weirder than the other. Apparently all doors had been opened at the same time. Was this it? Did Bull guys Labyrinth reach its next harbour?
Before Deku and IcyHot could walk over to me there was a sudden crackling noise followed by a loud peep. With a crunchy sound we could hear the clearing of someone's throat echoing through the rooms. I looked around and soon noticed a speaker in the corner of our room. "Dear guest." Bull guys voice... "We thank you for traveling with Minatours Labyrinth and hope you had a pleasant trip." There was a grin in the way he spoke. "We sadly have to announce that this cruise has reached its final destination. We here bye ask you to please stay calm and return to you rooms. In a few minutes the exit hallways will activate and lead you with no unnecessary further delays back to the reception area. Please pack your things while waiting for the System to activate. It is of importance that none of your belongings stay behind since there is no way for you to retrieve them. Once your feet are back on solid ground there will be a security check. We must ask you to pass it without any questions or inconveniences for staff and other passengers. Thank you again for trusting me with your safety. Have a pleasant rest of your trip wherever you're headed and goodbye." The speakers crackled a second time.
We looked at each other. "Seems like we can finally get out of this hellhole, huh?" Both nodded. "Well then, let's pack up." Shoto said.
Considering we had only been here for a night there wasn't much to pack. After putting shoes on and going to the bathroom one last time all three of us sat down on the bed. Half n' half forced himself into my left arm after I had leaned back. Deku flipped through the diary's pages once more. "Remember, whatever you find in the tent after exiting, only choose one." He repeated himself. Afterwards he secured the moulding book back into the backpack. Half n' half mustered Deku as he nervously sat on the edge of our bed. But before he had a chance to talk some faith into him a calm female voice came through the speakers: "The system will activate in just a few minutes. Please go to the room exits with the entirety of your luggage. We ask you to pay attention to the opening doors and not to push when leaving the rooms. Thank you."
We stood up and I grabbed our backpack. Once we reached the door both IcyHot and Deku suddenly grabbed my hands. I held onto them tightly, reassuring that I wouldn't let anything bad happen to them. Plus, there was no way I was going to let those two get lost again.
With the sound of a lock opening, the wall in front of us split and the two parts began to open in our direction. The wings fit perfectly into the corridor, where they formed new walls separating all the rooms from each other. The dark corridor in front of us lit up lamp by lamp. Deja vu hit as I saw a hallway looking exactly like all the others we've seen on this Ship. All three of us took a deep breath and started walking.
