Midoriya POV:
I kneeled down. "Found something?" "I think these are parts of something electronic." "Electronic?" Mr. Thunderhoof asked. I picked up some of the parts I had found on the side of the hallway and inspected them closer. "This looks like a lens." "Wich one?" I handed Mr. Thunderhoof the part in my hand. "Oh I see. Well yes Mr. Midoriya it is quite likely this belonged to a camera of some sort." "A camera?" "That's what it looks like, yes." I continued looking. My heart dropped. I quickly reached out for what I had spotted. A pocket knife. I inspected it. There was no way right? No, I'm a hundred percent sure. This was Kacchans. I remembered how mad Shoto always got at him for playing with it. At some point Kacchan had even carved his initials into the wooden handle with another knife. "What is it?" Mr Thunderhoof asked. Should I tell him? We are trying to find the others but would it really be smart to bring the guy looking for us to the other two? Whatever it's fine. "I found a pocket knife. I think it belongs to one of the friends I'm looking for." "Are you for certain?" "I am." "That's great. Considering we didn't find them on our way they must've headed in that direction." Mr Thunderhoof pointed into the opposite direction of the one we just came from. "I sure hope so. But we don't know how long it has been since he's been here. Maybe he took a different turn and we passed him." "Let's not think so pessimistic. In a place like this the only thing you can actually do is keep your hopes up. All else is in vain." I nodded. Then took the camera pats and put 'em in my pockets. I got up and while I continued to clench onto the knife we kept on walking.
Bakugo POV:
I rushed down the hallway. And finally took the sharp turn from earlier. Just a little more. Suddenly two siluettes appeared further down the hallway. One looked pretty big the other one compared quite small. Shit. I slowed down a bit. I didn't have time to fight right now. The two shadows slowly started to take form as they came closer One of them looked as though they were sitting on a horse. The fuck? As they slowly stepped into the light my world stoped so abruptly that I tripped and face planted. "Fuck!" I slowly got on to my knees and pressed my left hand against my nose. "Are you ok sir?" His voice. One of them came rushing towards me and instantly stoped once he was close enough to properly see me. "Kacchan?!" The nerd immediately started tearing up. He kneeled down in front of me and took my hand off my face. "You're bleeding!" "It won't kill me." "Kacchan?!" "Stop acting as if you were my mother!" I finally managed to make eye contact. In an instand he threw himself around my neck. I held onto him tightly. I could hear his annoying sobbing right next to my ear. "I'm glad you're fine, nerd." In that moment I remembered what I came here for. "Shit!" I pushed Deku off me. "Did you by chance find my knife." "Hm? Oh yeah here it is." Deku handed me my pocket knife. "Thank God!" "What?" I got up and without saying a word rushed down the hallway again. "KACCHAN?!" I had to hurry. I didn't know how it looked under the trapdoor. Maybe they barely got air or something was stuck in there with them. In that moment a thought rushed through my head but vanished the same instant it came: "Why do I even care? No matter who is in there they're just some unimportant extra."
I slowly started to hear the muffled banging again. I made it. There it was! I opened my knife and slid it into the gap. "What are you doing Kacchan?" Deku had followed me. "Listen once I lift this thing you need to help me get it open. I don't think the knife will be strong enough to hold it for very long." "Right! Mr Thunderhoof, could you perhaps help us?" "But of course." 'Perhaps'?! I looked up at the mysterious person Deku was accompanied by. Until know I hadn't even glanced- THE FUCK?! In front of me stood a horse. No, a human? BOTH?! "Kacchan?" "Right" back to the issue at hand. I held the handle of the knife with my right hand. Then I started slightly lifting the trapdoor. At this rate the knife would break before we get it far enough open. "Hey you! Can you try to press against the door?" I asked the person under the it. It started lifting some more. "This is all I can do." That was the first time I actually understood what this guy was blabbering- Wait! Is that? As soon as it was open wide enough I slid my left hand into the opening. As I put aside the knie to use both hands Deku and Horseman joined me. It was now open wide enough to see the person inside. I was right! "Shoto?!" the nerd confirmed. "Deku, give him a hand!" As Deku let go the door got a lot heavier again. Before we knew it IcyHot was out the hole and we were able to let go of the door again. He was covered in sweat and passed out the instance he got to lay down in Dekus arms. "Is he ok?" I asked. "Not sure." Deku answered with a worried expression. "I can carry him" the horse said "which one of you has the room compass." "I do" "Then let's go." I was about to say something but suddenly felt a shiver go down my spine. I looked over to the nerd. Since when was he able to glare like that. He really did turn into my mother. Scary. But he was right. If the nerd trusted him then I could as well. For the moment at least.
