Early days of work had hit Porsche really hard which was expected since it was all completely new to him but seeing him so stressed and overworked all the time worried Kinn a lot nonetheless. First few weeks had gone by really busy for both of them as they were caught up in handling the mess that had been caused after the shootout. It was a messy and tiresome process to put everything back in order. It was hard to tell when the time used to pass but the day always started too early and ended too late. It became normal to skip a meal or sleeping at all. At times they didn't see eachother despite returning under the same roof after a long day of work. A few weeks went ahead like this until one day Kinn suggested that they eat dinner together. The goal was to try and finish their day's work as fast as possible so they could save up some time and return back early. Porsche had readily agreed to the plan and was eagerly looking forward to it. His ink smudged hands, deep dark circles under eyes, and constant headaches were a clear giveaway of how overworked he was, yet fully determined to carry out his work while simultaneously spend some time with Kinn. They woke up extra early that day and left for work. It was tough to speed everything up during the day but it was necessary. Finally around 8:30 Kinn had finished up everything and was ready to leave but his hopes were short lived when Arm told him about a mistake in a file that Porsche had made earlier in the day. He must've been very much caught up in the work to have caused a slip up like that where he forgot to put his signature on a file before sending it. Now Kinn had 2 options to either let Porsche handle the businessman with anger issues who's deal was stuck due to the lack of signature on the file or travel half and hour to put his own signature instead.
He was already way too late by the time he reached back home. He ignored his staff's question on whether he'd like to eat and rushed up to his room. He found Porsche sleeping on the bed. He looked absolutely burnt out. Kinn inquired the staff to find out that Porsche had waited for him for a long time before he asked them to serve Kinn when he got back home and went to sleep without eating anything because of how tired he was. Between all the chaos it had completely slipped from his mind to inform Porsche that he'll be late. He tried to wake Porsche up gently by laying on his side and shaking him slowly, he wanted him to eat something. Porsche woke up for a few moments and just continued staring at Kinn looking more drowsy and tired than ever. Then he softly lifted his hand to pat Kinn's head for a moment before falling back asleep. Kinn had no other option than to just hold him and apologise for not showing up.
He couldn't remember when he felt such dread and nervousness last time compared to the moment when he had returned back from his buisness trip after hearing from Khun about Porsche's condition. His few words were all it took to shake up their entire world and put Porsche through hell. His flight had landed early and he had rushed home to see Porsche. His dread turned into immediate sorrow when he saw Porsche who had bandages wrapped around his hands and couldn't lift his eyes. Despite him being the one that was at fault, Porsche hugged him and accepted him back. At night before falling asleep he had heard Porsche telling him that he loved him and caressing his head. He hadn't said it back....

"What happened in there? What did he say?"
"Crossed his limits... As always".
He knew there was no point in answering his father's questions. He'd only get the same old "we don't have enough evidence against him". Still he was aware that his actions could create a string of gossips which couldn't be controlled. He had hit Khwan himself instead of getting him beaten up by his guards.
"Do you think this will be enough to get any information out of him?"
"If this isn't enough which I'm sure isn't then there are many more ways".
