Many minutes passed until Y/N could finally compose himself to a somewhat degree. He gently pushed the unconscious Itsuki, the girl who he saved not too long ago to the side so he was able to get back up. Y/N rose up on his feet as he looked down at Itsuki as a single tear dropped down his face whilst staring at the sleeping beauty.Y/N brainstormed for a short amount of time to how he would be able to carry Itsuki on his back. He quickly found a solution as he picked up Itsuki's body and rested her back against a tree arranging her in a sleeping position. Y/N crouched down and pushed his back to her chest, reason as to why he put her rested against a tree was to use the wood as a support so Itsuki wouldn't fall over.
Once that step was complete, he held both of Itsuki's wrists and held her arms up as high as they could go and threw her arms over Y/N's shoulder so that her armpits were pushing down against Y/N's shoulders. Y/N wrapped Itsuki's legs around his abdomen so her legs wouldn't let loose and dangle around whilst carrying her. Finally, Y/N held both of her wrists with one hand firmly so her arms wouldn't slide off and rested her head on his left shoulder. Y/N steadily got up from being crouched down and successfully managed to begin carrying the unconscious Itsuki safely.
At this point, you may start to think that Y/N still has no source of direction and is still completely lost... Well, that's where you are wrong. The cliff expands through the entirety of the northern border of the forest and the exit to the test of courage is at the west of the forest. So facing away from the cliff, all Y/N had to do was to keep following the rightmost paths and he should get to the exit of the test of courage.
While on the journey there, Y/N knew that everyone was staying at an inn and that everyone had assigned rooms with friends of the same gender and people of the same family were allowed to stay in the same room and overheard from Ichika earlier on in the day that the five Nakano's were indeed sharing the same room.
The reason he needed to know what room they were in was obvious, the girl currently straddled and being carried on Y/N's back. She needed somewhere to rest for now and Y/N really didn't want to be carrying her for any much longer than necessary as she was getting quite heavy as his muscles were starting to become more and more fatigued the longer he carried the youngest Nakano sister.
Y/N: "This should do... She'd be the easiest to approach in a situation like this."
Y/N's voice was low and quiet as he didn't want to awake the unconscious Itsuki as his phone started to vibrate as he placed the electronic device next to his ear.
Y/N: "Hey Ichika, sorry for calling you at this time but I just wanted to know what room you five are staying in for the night... Thanks Ichika... Oh okay, well it's best to not be a bother as you're helping out Fuutarou and Yotsuba with campfire preparations... Hmm, what is it?"
*Meanwhile*
Ichika: "Is there any reason you wanted to know our room number..? Oh, I understand. Ok bye Y/N-kun."
Ichika and Fuutarou were currently in a warehouse with several giant wooden logs that needed transporting to where the campfire was going to be held tomorrow evening. Ichika gently slid her phone back into her right pocket and lifted up the wooden log that was on top of the pile the same time Fuutarou picked the wood up.
Once the two got a firm grip and weren't struggling holding the wooden log up, they exited the warehouse through it's massive metal gates and went to walk over to the currently work in progress campfire.
Fuutarou: "Was that Y/N who was talking to you? Why'd he call you at this time of day."
Ichika: "You should stop being nosy and listening in to my conversation on the phone, Fuutarou-kun. But yes it was."
