The end of term exams were now fast approaching and now with Fuutarou being dismissed from the hospital, he hadn't a second to waste...

It was currently night, the shine and glow from the moon radiated through the window emitting a minimal amount of light into the room Fuutarou Uesugi was currently occupying. He was kneeling down on his knees working at a desk with bundles upon bundles of paper stacked on top of each other alongside a stack of different coloured books on the opposite end of the desk. By now, Fuutarou's eyes had become adjusted to the dark lighting of the room and had no difficulty writing down on the sheets of paper he had in front of him.

His facial expression was full of determination, not wanting any hint or sign of exhaustion getting to him for even a second as he continued to scrap and lift his pen off of the sheet of paper over and over.

Fuutarou: *in mind* "There's only one week until the autumn finals... They averaged twenty percent on the first ever test they did... On the midterm, they averaged twenty-seven percent... Going off a statistical answer, we'll definitely make the cut!"

He gazed upward as his eyes met a poster that was put up on the wall that signified willpower and hope as a smirk grew on his face.

Fuutarou: *in mind* "That's right, if nothing goes wrong, we can do it!"

The Next Day:

Today was now a Saturday and that meant that it was one of the days of the week where Y/N and Fuutarou would be going round the quintuplets place to tutor them. As for the youngest quintuplet, Itsuki, she was patiently waiting at the front door awaiting the arrival of at least one of her tutors to greet them inside.

Itsuki: *in mind* "It's been three minutes now later than when they should arrive... Uesugi-kun always turns up early so where is he?"

Itsuki remained still, not thinking much of the inconvenient delay. Itsuki twirled her hair, playing with it indicating that it was a sign that she was starting to get slightly bored. As she began to get lost in her thoughts and get now concerned on if the two were even going to show up or not. A familiar someone had opened the door.

Itsuki: "L/N-kun! Do you know where Uesugi-kun is?"

Y/N: "Yeah... About that."

Y/N tone of speech alone wasn't a good sign as it had left Itsuki in a state of worry. Y/N with his right hand gestured Itsuki to come over to him which she obliged in doing so. After stepping out of the Nakano's residence and into the apartment corridor, Itsuki was left absolutely gobsmacked.

What she saw could only be described as either a comedic scene or as a complete scare. Let's just say that Itsuki chose the second option.

Itsuki: "Uesugi-kun?!"

Fuutarou was on the floor front first not even moving a muscle right now. She wasted no time darting over towards her other tutor leaving Y/N in the dust to check up on him. Once she got over to Fuutarou, she crouched down and used both of her arms to turn him around. Itsuki had her full attention over at Fuutarou's face to see if he was okay or not and as she turned him around, his eyes were completely lifeless as a small bead of saliva formed at the side of his mouth.

Itsuki: "He's dead!"

Just when Itsuki had thought the worst possible outcome had occured, the sound of a snore emerged from Fuutarou's mouth meaning one thing and one thing only.
