Y/N and Fuutarou were really down on their luck the past few months, with the Uesugi family having huge financial difficulty with an increasing amount of debt by the day; struggling to pay it off. Y/N on the other hand, being Fuutarou's one and only...
After several boring hours of class it was finally lunch. Y/N was starving due to him oversleeping in the morning trying to discover what dream he really had and not having much breakfast as a result of his morning accident. Y/n and Fuutarou both stood in the queue waiting to be ordered with Y/N looking as if he is about to pass out.
Y/N: "I'm so starving that I could order the whole menu and still be hungry. I feel my legs will give way any second and I'll fall over." Y/n said weakly.
Fuutarou: "Stop exaggerating, it isn't funny."
Y/N: "I'm noootttttt."
Y/N kept on complaining until it starting to nerve Fuutarou to the point he would just ignore Y/N until they got to the front of the queue.
Fuutarou: "Barbecue beef combo. Without beef" Fuutarou reluctantly says to the cafeteria lady.
Y/N: *in mind* "Seriously, he orders the same thing everyday, even though his family is in debt and the cheapest item on the menu is for 200 yen, he still must get sick of eating the same thing for lunch 5 days a week."
Y/N: "Udon with one shrimp and chicken tempura and rice." Y/N reluctantly says to the other cafeteria lady.
Fuutarou's food was already done as he waited for Y/N's to be ready. Once Y/N's was ready, they both set off to their usual table they sit at.
Fuutarou: "I know you were hungry, but 700 yen's worth of food is too much." He tried to make Y/N reassure my decision.
Y/N didn't reply as Fuutarou already knew what Y/N was going to say to him and wouldn't want to waste his energy doing so. They got the everyday chatter of them two being together and not with anyone else.
Student: "Seems Y/N-kun and Fuutarou-kun are still lonely."
Student 2: "How did L/N-kun manage to get so low in his life..."
When they finally got to the table, they were encountered with someone they had not seen before.

She had long vibrant red hair with two star hairpins either side of her interstellar blue eyes which looked similar to Yotsuba's and she also wore the same black and white school uniform as Yotsuba showing how she also had transferred today too. It wasn't the girl Y/N had who was in the same class as her hair was shorter.
Y/N and Fuutarou stared in confusion to the girl as she stared back with the same expression. how did we manage to get in this situation? Could it be fate?
Y/N and Fuutarou were both sitting at the table they plan to sit at everyday but instead they had the girl sitting opposite them as chatter began to scatter around them about the situation of Y/N and Fuutarou sitting with a girl.
Student: "Yo, who's that with the nerd?"
Student 2: "Hey look. Uesugi-kun and L/N-kun are having lunch with a girl."
