Chapter 28

I looked at her, eyes filling up how could this be happening?
"It's me, Cami-Li?" I took out my phone and showed her pictures of us, she remained silent until I came to the very last moment she paused as I put my phone away she held her arm out "that was at Tom's birthday!" She said

I gasped she remembered! "Yes it was! Do you remember anything else from that evening?" Hoping she would remember something else

"I remember you pole dancing!" She chuckled. Ok maybe I hoped she wouldn't remember that memory, that was one embarrassing moment, something I will never live down. We started talking about other things that happened that night that's when she grabbed my hand and smiled.

"I remember you Cami! But why can't I remember some of the other pictures that was taken?" A tear flowed down her face, I gripped her hand, "There was an accident, you was hit round the head with a pole but we don't know who it was....do you remember anything? Maybe what they were wearing?"

That's when she looked down and closed her eyes, she reached out for my hand, I gripped her hand tight when she reopened her eyes "They were wearing hard red shiny boots...that's all I remember" this was something I guess, I sat there with her trying to jog her memory of all the different memories we had together.

Deanna started to laugh, my heart filled with joy watching her laying in that hospital bed unconscious which seemed to been forever to her now finally remembering me and telling old memories we had. Emily walked in, Deanna suddenly stopped laughing and whispered over to me "who's this?" Emily's face dropped and I could see her eyes filling up
"It's Emily...remember her? Emily come round the bed" I said, Emily followed my instructions that's when I noticed what she was wearing.....
