Y/n was walking home from work after her mother visited her little workshop.
"I have something I want you to have sweetheart. We made this for you, and now it's yours. B/n has one as well." Mama had said on the phone when she called.
She had been going through some stuff in the attic and found something she wanted to give her daughter.
Mother and daughter talked in her apartment's kitchen. She gave the young woman a scrapbook.
"This might be something you want to do as well, when you have children of your own. It's a wonderful way to document a child's growth. And it's fun to do! I had so much fun making this as you grew up darling."
With how crafty she is, Y/n knew she could make some great pages for any children she has with Bruno.
"I'll have to talk to Bruno about it, but I'm sure he'll love the idea too!" She said, and her mother laughed.
"I'm sure he will. I do believe Alma has a scrapbook of her triplets somewhere in Casita. We worked on many pages together. She might bring it out to show them sometime."
Y/n had a bright smile on her face and a few tears in her eyes as she carried something into Casita.
Pepa was the first to see her, but couldn't tell what her future sister in law was holding.
Y/n gave the cloud covered triplet a teary wave and slight smile as she entered the tower.
Bruno was out running some errands for his mother, so she had the tower to herself for at least a few minutes.
Bruno arrived a little while later and found his fiancee sitting on the bed, looking over something, tears streaming down her cheeks. As he got closer, worry became confusion as he saw the smile on her face.
"Amor? What are you doing?" He asked as she looked up, her smile getting bigger when she saw him.
"Mama visited me at the workshop today. She wanted to give me this."
She showed him the scrapbook, explaining how her mother was always taking pictures of her when she was little.
"No surprise here, but you are in a lot of these pictures Bruno." She told him as he sat down beside her. Together they went through the book.
The first few pages were of a pregnant Señora L/n, and sometimes Alma as well. Her Mama was taking monthly pictures of her growing belly. There were also a few ultrasounds, with one announcing 'IT'S A GIRL'.
There was even a photo of various people holding a baby Y/n. There were her parents, and even his Mama and Papa holding her. Everyone looked so happy to meet her.
There were quite a few baby pictures of her with all three Madrigal babies, and plenty with her and Bruno. It was obvious they had been close since pretty much the beginning.
"Mama told me that when we would come over, you'd usually be sitting away from your sisters and I'd just crawl right over to you and talk to you. It was like we were holding long and deep conversations, even at that age." She told him, earning a smile and laugh.
"I wouldn't be surprised if we were to be honest. Mama used to tell me that I'd be so sad and quiet when you had to go home. But I'd be happy and talkative the moment you came over."
There were pictures of them napping together, and playing together. It was so adorable to see how close they were as babies.
They went through other pictures. There were a few from their fifth birthdays and playing in his oasis. There was a photo of their mothers teaching the four kids how to swim. Another photo had them building sandcastles together.
There were photos from walks through the forest. Y/n would be smelling the flowers and looking at the animals.
Then there was a Halloween photo from when they were seven. Y/n was dressed as a princess and Bruno was her knight in shining armor. They were acting out stories even at that age. Julieta and Pepa were there as well. Julieta was an angel and Pepa was a fairy.
"You are always my knight Bruno." She told him sweetly.
"Only for you mi Princesa." He replied with a tender kiss.
There were more pictures her growing up. There were pictures of a young Y/n holding her newborn brother with her Papa close by to watch her. There were family trips to the beach, sometimes with the Madrigals and sometimes without them.
There were a couple of pictures of young Y/n on hilltop picnics with her Papa.
There was pictures of a ten year old Y/n watching her mother make candles. Then a few pictures showed her learning to make her own bath sets. There was even a picture of her making her first sell.
There were pictures of Y/n making her first round of stained glass products, including a little sun catcher of a little rat that she made for Bruno. A sun catcher Bruno still had in his bedroom window.
There were pictures of her as a teen, some with both of them as teens and some pictures of them as an official couple, and a few pictures from the night Y/n proposed.
The last few pages were left blank. Bruno glanced up at her, a question in his eyes.
"That's intentional. Those pages are for the wedding." She replied. She looked down at the notebook once again, a smile on her face.
"Mama made a scrapbook for me and for B/n. I think it's something I want to do too. To make a scrapbook for our children. A documentation for their childhoods, and then we can give it to them when they grow up and prepare for married life too."
"That is a lovely idea darling. I bet if you tell Julieta and Pepa, they will love the idea too."
"Yeah. We can turn it into a huge family thing. It'll be a beautiful way to make memories."
They went downstairs to show off the scrapbook. It turns out that the triplets had a scrapbook as well, and Y/n was in some of the pictures too. There were quite a few pictures in the Madrigal scrapbook that weren't in Y/n's.
Pepa and Julieta loved the idea of scrapbooking for their future children and the promised to buy plenty of supplies when they became pregnant.
The rest of the evening was full of stories from Alma about the four of them growing up together.
