Spa Day

"Wake up Y/N! We have stuff to do!" Pepa yelled, banging on my bedroom door.

"I'm up! I'm up!" I called from my bed, wondering why she was waking me up at 9 am. We had been up until really late, finalizing the details for tomorrow.

"You need to get a shower before we leave!" Pepa yelled.

That's right, I totally forgot the Madrigals had planned a spa day for all of us ladies. Alma, Julieta, Pepa, my mom and I were heading over for a full spa day so we can look our best for the wedding.

Our appointment was at ten, and we were looking at about 6 hours of pampering.

When I got out of my room, I heard the shower already running. The Madrigal ladies were enjoying a quick breakfast.

A few minutes later Mama came out of the bathroom and joined the others in the kitchen.

I took my time in the shower, wanting to be awake to fully enjoy the spa day.

After the shower, I had a quick breakfast, and then it was time to head to the spa.

When we arrived, we were quickly led into the sauna. The perks of being a Madrigal.

After about 15 minutes in the sauna, we were all separated for the next few hours.

I was led into a flower bath treatment. The scent of roses and peonies filled the room, and the bath tub was surrounded by rose quartz crystals and emerald gemstones.

I chose the emeralds myself to honor Bruno. Emeralds are connected to him and the future. I knew the gorgeous green would help me relax, reminding me of my fiance's eyes. I find the color so soothing.

I rested in the water, just thinking about how special tomorrow will be. Seeing Bruno at the altar, the smile gracing his features as he sees me in my dress. The joy radiating from me as I finally see him after an entire 24 hours apart.

I spent the hour just thinking about how his hands feel in mine, how I feel when he is gazing into my eyes with all the love we share. My mind conjures images of our future as esposo y esposa.

Images of us cuddling in our room, sleeping in his arms. I can see myself on our bed reading, and looking up to see Bruno at his desk, working on a story.

I get images of us dancing in his room, of me being pregnant. Of Bruno holding our baby.

Before I knew it, the 60 minutes had been up and it was time for me to dry off and move into the next room for a 60-minute body scrub. I relaxed and continued thinking about Bruno and the future I hope to have.

After a brief shower to rinse off the scrub, it was time for the massage. It was so relaxing and just what I needed after the year and a half of wedding prep stress I have been through.

To be honest, I never knew I could feel so relaxed. I knew my beloved would definitely benefit from a good, relaxing body scrub experience.

I asked my masseur about what body scrubs are good for men that need to relax, and she told me what body scrubs are most popular among men. As well as massage oils that were good for relaxation that men liked.

I asked about buying some, as well as what she used on me today. She told me they would have some ready for me when we are ready to leave.

After my 90 minute full body massage, I was reunited with the rest of my party.

We got facials, that had to sit for an hour. Then they had set up hair masks that also had to sit in our hair for an hour.

We spent this hour just talking and joking with each other. Even Pepa was relaxed today, I had only just noticed I hadn't seen a single cloud in the spa all day.

We were all sent over to the hair washing sinks to get the masks rinsed out.

Finally, it was time for the final part of our spa day, the manicures and pedicures.

We kept the talk lighthearted, talking about the wedding tomorrow.

"Imagine our men seeing us tomorrow all radiant and glowing!" Julieta smiled.

"Especially you Y/n! Bruno might have trouble breathing when he sees how gorgeous you'll be tomorrow!" Pepa grinned as I blushed.

"Well, that's what Felix is there for right?" I laughed. "To thump him on the back when he forgets to breathe?"

We all giggle at that, imagining Bruno at the altar, eyes glued on me as I enter the room. Felix, with an amused glint in his eyes, lightly smacking Bruno between his shoulder blades.

I can just see Bruno trying to swallow to ease his anxiety. I can easily visualize his eyes widening as he sees my dress, and notices my earrings and the alterations I made to my hairpiece.

It was time to get dressed and leave the spa; I made sure to grab my requested items on the way out.

Julieta gave the bag a look, and I told her what I bought. She smiled in understanding.

We returned to my family home, where all the women were staying the night. We would be getting ready here, at my parents house. All the men would all be getting ready at Casita before we would move on to the church for the wedding.

The reception will be a smaller party. Just the Madrigals and my family. We wanted to hold it at the Casita. Thankfully, The girls and Agustin had prepped the food ahead of time. Everything was ready for tomorrow.

I thanked everyone, not only for setting up the wonderful spa day we enjoyed. I also thanked them for being there for both of us during the wedding planning. As well as everything they did to make tomorrow such a wonderful day.

Everyone smiled as we ate dinner and talked about how the day went. We also discussed the wedding tomorrow, before heading to bed early. Tomorrow will be a long day.

I smiled as I got ready for bed. I was truly grateful for everything they had done for me today. Because I knew one thing.

All the pampering that I had gone through was for one purpose.

Tomorrow. The day I will get married to Bruno.
