(Bruno's pov)

I was slowly waking up, my arms wrapped around Y/n.

It was the morning after she had told me about her lingering fears caused by my disappearance.

I smiled as I watched her sleeping form. She looked so beautiful and peaceful in my arms.

I really missed waking up next to her.

It had been a very difficult four years away from her. From my family.

I had to hear my mother's anger. Pepa's storming whenever my name was mentioned. Julieta being quieter than normal. Dolores silently suffering.

Isabela, Luisa and Camilo had been confused when I left. They had no idea what was going on and nobody could tell them what happened.

Mirabel was afraid and upset. She blamed herself for her tio being missing. Julieta tried calming her down, but was unsuccessful.

Mirabel was afraid that Tia Y/n would be angry with her. Y/n of course was able to calm her and explain she had nothing to do with my disappearance.

Reyna was searching for me outside with her gift, and Pedro helped Mirabel. If Mirabel was afraid of Y/n being angry with her, she was terrified of the twins.

They both promised their younger prima that she wasn't to blame for their papa being missing.

I was so proud of my wife and twins helping Mirabel.

But then, at night when she was in our bedroom. I had witnessed my wife's misery. I watched as she cried herself to sleep in the room we slept in when she was pregnant.

It broke my heart seeing her break down away from everyone else. I desperately wanted to return to her. Hold her in my arms. To comfort her and let her know I was okay and that I loved her.

I was nervous, but relieved when Y/n and Mirabel found me. I was nervous about their reactions to me hiding in the walls all this time.

Turns out I had nothing to worry about. Mirabel was surprised and confused when they found me. Y/n was in tears as she held me close. She felt terrible for not being with me when I had the vision. I was kinda glad she wasn't with me, though. I never would have wanted her to see what I saw. I didn't want to upset her, thinking she would be partly to blame for Mirabel not having a gift.

I smiled as I remember the feeling of her arms around me when she found me in my hidden room.

I was brought out of my thoughts when I felt Y/n shift in my arms.

She now turned to face me, still sleeping, but not quite as peacefully as she was. I quickly saw the reason.

Our little Antonio was moving around. I gently laid my hand on her large belly, to try to calm the baby we would soon be meeting.

He settled at my touch, which caused my wife to sigh in relief as she opened her eyes.

"He's moving around a lot isn't he?" I asked quietly. She nodded.

"He can't seem to get comfortable. Neither can I honestly." She replied as she tried to sit up. I gently helped her lean against the head board, and she smiled tiredly at me as she caught her breath.

She had been having a lot of trouble sleeping lately, a byproduct of the pregnancy. Between the bathroom trips, Braxton Hicks contractions, and Antonio moving around she hasn't been sleeping well.

I looked over at the clock on the wall and decided it was a good time to get up for the day.

After helping my wife get dressed in some comfortable clothes, I helped her leave the room and get down the stairs.

Y/n needed to sit on one of the benches by the stairs to catch her breath again. Even a short trip was hard on her this late in the pregnancy. I sat with her and rubbed her belly to keep our son calm while she took a break.

That was when Mirabel came down the stairs and saw us. She offered to bring Y/n a drink from Julieta to give her some relief from her pregnancy symptoms.

My wife thanked the sweet girl as she took a sip.

Mirabel walked with us as we entered the kitchen, and she brought the food over to Y/n as I pulled out her chair.

"Difficult morning Y/n?" Julieta asked.

"A little. Antonio seems to be pressed against my lungs." She replied.

"Ah. I remember the struggles of the third trimester. But, you'll be meeting him soon." She smiled, and my wife smiled back.

"I know. I can't wait to be able to hold him in my arms." She replied.

Y/n made small talk to various members of the family during breakfast. She shifted position from time to time, and I would sometimes catch her rubbing her stomach in a soothing motion.

After dinner, Mama and Pepa led my wife into the living room. They were talking about all the things they would need to get out for Antonio.

We already had some of Pedro's baby clothes ready for Antonio. Pepa and Señora (Last Name) also bought him a few new outfits, so he'd have things that were just his too.

Mirabel had even pitched in for her soon-to-be born primo. She had found an adorable onesie that had a Jaguar on it. She bought it with her allowance.

"I wanted to pay tia back for protecting me since I didn't get a gift." She had explained.

It was a teary eyed Y/n that told the 10 year old that she didn't need to pay her back.

"I protected you because you are a sweet girl. You are a gift Mirabel. You don't need a miracle to be the amazing Madrigal you are."She smiled, and Mirabel gave her a gentle hug.

"She's right mariposita. You are perfect the way you are."

I looked over at everyone as they were getting ready for the day. Some people were heading out to help the village, while some were just hanging out at Casita.

Julieta's daughters were heading upstairs to spend some time together as sisters.

I was so happy to see all the changes that have taken place with my family.

I was filled with such joy to be surrounded by everyone I loved. I no longer felt lonely and sad.

I have my wife and children back in my life. We will soon be greeting a new son. I am getting the chance to watch mi sobrinos growing up. I am spending time with my sisters and mother again.

It was a great day to be a Madrigal.
