Y/N woke before her alarm. She did not know what time it was. The apartment was still quiet, with the curtains allowing only the faintest morning light to filter through. For a few seconds, she simply stared at the ceiling.

Then she remembered.

The flight.

The café.

The list she had started making.

Y/N turned onto her side. Daniela was still asleep. Her face was turned toward the wall, her hair scattered across the pillow. Y/N smiled then she quietly reached for her phone.

The flight page was still open. She checked it again. The date had not changed. The price had not changed. Everything was still there.

She took a screenshot and saved it in a folder she would not normally use. A folder with no name and locked her phone.

She looked at Daniela again. Oh my god, she's really doing this. The thought no longer frightened her as much. If anything, it felt almost peaceful.

By the time Daniela woke, Y/N was already in the kitchen. The younger wandered in, still half asleep. "Morning." She mumbled. Y/N glanced over her shoulder. "Good morning, sleepy head." Daniela walked straight toward her. Without saying anything, she wrapped her arms around Y/N from behind.

Y/N froze, then laughed softly. "Alright yeah, good morning to you too."

"I'm tired." Daniela complained. "You just woke up." Y/N stated the obvious. "Exactly." Came the whining. Y/N shook her head. Daniela rested her chin on Y/N's shoulder. "What are you making?"

"Breakfast."

"Is it edible?" Daniela teased. Y/N looked offended. "Excuse me?"

"I'm just asking."

"You ate my cooking yesterday and every other day."

"And I survived." Daniela had a cheeky wink at the end. Y/N laughed and Daniela smiled. For a moment, neither of them said anything.

Y/N looked down at Daniela's arms around her waist, then turned slightly which then Daniela lifted her head. Their faces were suddenly closer than either of them had expected.

Y/N smiled, "You're clingy in the morning."

"Only in the morning?"

"Mostly." Y/N nodded. She then leaned forward and pressed a quick kiss to the younger's cheek.

Daniela went completely still. Y/N immediately turned back toward the stove. "There."

Daniela blinked. "There?"

"A good morning..." Y/N paused. Daniela's smile slowly grew. "Was that a good-morning kiss?"

"Don't make it weird." Y/N warned. "I am not! I'm not making it weird." Daniela held back her laughs.

"You are."

"I'm literally standing here."

"Exactly." Y/N giggled. Daniela laughed and tightened her arms around Y/N.

Later that afternoon, they sat together on the couch. Daniela had her laptop open. Y/N's remained closed. She had no interest in working. Daniela suddenly frowned at her screen. "Y/N, can you help me?" who then looked over. "With what?"

Daniela turned the laptop toward her. "This." Y/N stared at the assignment with a blank look. "You want me to do your homework?"

"No." Daniela mumbled.

"Good."

"I want you to explain it."

"That's different." Y/N frowned. Daniela batted her eyelashes. "Please?" Y/N sighed dramatically. "Fine."
