Stop avoiding us!

Not long after, Kid was fully healed and back to his old horny self. Alexis noticed the bond that he and Law were reforming. Even more so when the crew and Alexis arrived back on the ship after a long day of shopping.

They were acting lovey-dovey towards each other again, with adorable shy glances at each other and gentle touches. Law was smiling more. It was,  in a way, different than how they were before. Kid seemed to be acting as if he couldn't believe that Law was allowing him into his life again. She partially wondered why he was after everything that happened, but she also knew that she and Law still had a soft spot for that idiot.

She was happy for them though, now she didn't have to worry as much for Law's wellbeing as much. She would still worry about him, but now she could let herself process everything without worrying if Law would have another episode.

A frown then made its way to her face. As much as she would love to let the red head back in, she just couldn't bring herself to do so. Every time Kid would approach her or tries to talk when they were alone, she made excuses every single time. She would quickly rush the opposite direction when she saw him approaching her.

Alexis knew it's not fair to him really, he was trying hard to make amends, but she was afraid to let him back in, afraid of getting hurt again. She knew that she talked a big game, acting confident all the time, but in the end she was just a huge, jealous coward. Heck, she even tried to stay close to one of her crew mates that she knew annoyed Kid enough so he wouldn't approach her.

Kid growls in frustration at yet another one of his attempts to talk to her goes wrong. What was he doing wrong? That damn woman confuses and frustrates him like no other. Why couldn't she stay still in one place long enough so they could talk? He just wanted to make things right.

Law slowly noticed that Alexis had slowly started putting some distance between the two of them. She use to be so affectionate with him, but now she's barely in the room with him for long. He racked his brain trying to figure out why or what he did. Then it hit him that once he and Eustass-ya had started rekindling their relationship, she seemed to start backing off.

Law then insisted that Kid only show affection to him when they were alone to not put further stress on her. He didn't really know why she was avoiding him, but he assumes he upset her by allowing Kid to get close to him again.

Feeling slightly guilty about it, Kid agreed, but also insisted Law was not the cause of it. Law stops smiling as much because he wants both his lovers. He started to think that even though she said it was okay, all the times she took care of him, did that run her off from him? Since he had Eustass-ya back she could finally get away from any responsibility of having to take care of him.

Kid finally had enough, storming over he grabbed Alexis by the arm, pulling her away from everyone. She attempted to free herself from his tight hold, but it was no use. She could only glare up at him as he tossed her onto the bed of their room. She had been staying in the girl's room for the passed two weeks, so this was the first time back in this room in a while.

She tried to get up, but Kid roughly pins her to the bed. All her anger disappeared, quickly being replaced with unease. He glares down at her. "Why the hell have you been avoiding me? Better yet, why the hell have you been avoiding Law? He fucking blames himself for what ever the hell this damn game that you're playing is. You need to stop it, you are hurting him! I've already done enough of that." He spat down at her, though he stopped yelling when he noticed the fear in her eyes. His eyes widen as he sees her eyes water. He sits up, straddling her waist now. "Princess..." He started to say, but she shook her head.

"Please." She whispers. "I-I can't." She hiccups as tears start rolling down her face. "I can't do this."

"Do what?"
