Tom gripped onto me, nothing but anger in his eyes. I didn't know what to say. Fuck V, think.
"Where is my boyfriend?" The girl asked again, pushing Tom away. He slapped her, shoving her into the wall. Fuck, we didn't even know her.
"Your fucking crazy!" She yelled at him, as she held her red cheek. Tom turned towards her, towering.
"I will show you fucking crazy if you don't shut the fuck up." He growled at her, his fists clenched. She closed her mouth without another word. "Now V, is Jackson here?"
"No." I wasn't technically lying, he did just leave. He opens the door behind me, searching the room but he was already gone. If Tom had seen him, Jackson would be dying on the floor right now.
"Why does she think he's here?"
"I don't fucking know." The girl stepped into the room, taking a look around herself.
"He should be here, I tracked him." Damn okay you crazy bitch. Tom stared at me, waiting for me to say something but I didn't what to say. Fuck, he was so mad. No point in me trying to lie.
"Tom, he barged in with a really big cut and I stitched it for him, that's it." I said quietly not making eye contact.
"You had your hands on him?" His girlfriend said, jealousy seeping from her eyes. Why the fuck was she still here? Fucking dumbass bitch. Her stupid boyfriend left. She came up, ramming my shoulders into the wall, pulling at my hair. I swear to fucking god. I punch her face, making her groan and step back. She spit her blood at me, and slapped my face. Tom stood watching like it was funny. "Get the fuck away bitch!" I yell her, pushing her away. She lunges at me trying hit me but Tom grabs her arm, pushing her to the ground.
"Get the fuck out you crazy fucking bitch!" I scream at her, as she scrambles up from the floor and made her way out of the house. I'm so sick of stupid mother fuckers starting shit.
"We're you gonna tell me or lie in my face." His low voice says behind me, his breath on my neck. He turns me around to face him. "V you aren't being a very good girl." He says grabbing my hair back, my head being forced to look up at him.
"Tom." I whispered up at him. He grabbed my face, smashing his lips to mine, biting at my lip as he grabbed my ass hard.
"I better not see him ever, if he still wants live." He said before walking away. Damn it, why did he come back and cause all of this. He really said he missed me but has a girlfriend. Why are men such assholes to girls? Did he expect to get on my knees and happily want him back, so fucking stupid. Now Tom is acting all territorial about me.
I walk out of the room and slump down on the couch next to Taylor. I laid my head on her shoulder trying to not let my mind go insane. She sat watching the tv, still a bit drunk I think. I wanted to talk and see how she's doing but I also don't want to lead her down a place she doesn't want to be. If I was in her position, I probably wouldn't even leave my bed. "Taylor?" I say picking my head up, turning towards her. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"
"I'm just looking out for you, after everything." Her face softened and she grabbed my hand.
"V I'm trying really hard to forget, okay?" I get it, she doesn't need any reminders of what she lost. Maybe it would help if she talked it out but she's not at the point yet. I nod my head and lay back down watching the tv. We sat in each other silence, it was needed.
...
In the chilly darkness, our cigarettes cast an orange glow, illuminating the night as Taylor and I stood outside. I wrapped my arms around myself, seeking warmth and comfort amidst the cold.
