love for the chaos

"Find them! Even if it means to search through the depths of this continent." Sunhee growled, dispatching her knights through east, west, north, and south. The knights quickly obliged Sunhee, as they witness the woman break everything in their castle.

Byungho, on the other hand, is walking back and forth. The man is panicking, not knowing what to do in the current situation.

Beomgyu is watching his mother growl to every knight. It was painful for him to watch; he doesn't like the way his mother talks to their knights.

"And YOU— oh, Beomgyu," Sunhee paused, and breathes, "never mind that." She added, then continued shouting.

"Your Highness! The Moon Prince left with the Chaos Prince and is nowhere to be seen. There are also no traces of them." One knight alarmed, making Sunhee's eye twitch.

Beomgyu heard the note and was shocked. He knew that his mother would react violently, no doubt. Her resentment towards the Chaos Prince is immeasurable.

Sunhee gritted her teeth, "retreat! Tell the knights to retreat, I will announce this war is over." She commanded, standing up.

As she stands in their balcony, it is clear that the Rising Moon's knights are winning. There were tons of dead bodies, and severely injured knights from the opposing sides.

Sunhee was once the head of her kingdom's army. She was feared by the other kingdom, and once was the strongest knight of her kingdom.

"I hereby declare that this war is OVER!" She declared, her voice echoing in the battlefield.

The other kingdom didn't know how to react. How is it over? Did they surrender defeat? The others couldn't believe it. While the Rising Moon knights are retreating, some of the opposing knights chased them to slash their throats. Satisfied, they retreated too.

When the results were out, most of the dead soldiers were from the Rising Moon, and the severely injured were from Chaos Star.

"Mom... what if we don't find hyung? What will we do?" Beomgyu asked, worried.

Sunhee snickered, "well, if the knights couldn't find him in a week, I will find him myself, and break his neck." She stated, laughing.

Beomgyu horrifically watched his mother laugh. The moment Soobin disappeared along with the guy she resents the most, was the moment she lost her sanity.

And with that, Beomgyu knew exactly what to do.

It's been a month since Soobin and Yeonjun left the battlefield. They are now away from their respective kingdoms.

"Hey.. Soobin.." Yeonjun called, lying down, his body still recovering from the spell that the advanced knight placed upon him.

"Yes? Do you feel any pain?" Soobin replied, worried. He sat beside Yeonjun.

Yeonjun shakes his head as a response. "We talked about the.. godhood right? Way back.." he stated, nervously.

The blonde looked at him, his eyes locking with the black hair Prince. Soobin's eyes didn't change, it was calm, waiting for Yeonjun— waiting for him to ask anything, and he would answer, even if the kingdom's secret.

Yeonjun didn't spoke after, he doesn't know what to say. He cannot find words how to ask Soobin about it without making him sad or offended.

The younger noticed that the elder suddenly became quiet. He can see that he was nervous to ask him.

"What I do every day is the preparation for godhood. Practicing spells, talismans, swords.." he paused, his eyes not leaving Yeonjun. The Chaos Prince, on the other hand, is curiously watching Soobin as he speaks.

"I relax my mind.. I study how to be calm in all times. There is no escape in godhood. Whether you like it or not, you will ascend if you were the chosen one." Soobin continues, smiling. But Yeonjun knew, that deep down, it was a facade to hide his pain.

The elder nodded, "how- how- how does it happens?" He asks, curiously. Yeonjun slowly got up, struggling. Soobin immediately aided the elder and sat beside him.

"Well.. there will be a ceremony. A ceremony where I will be the one who will send myself. There will be a priest... the priest who helped the Moon to bless me the power, will be the priest that will help me to be sent on the moon." Soobin explained, eyes focusing on the window. Currently, both of them are inside the cabin that Soobin had found ever since he was 21 years old.

The Chaos Prince nodded in acknowledgment. There are so many processes, and there's so many to do.

"Ah... uhm.. I just want to say that.. you're doing well, Soobin. Your responsibilities are heavy, yet you manage to carry them alone." Yeonjun cheered him, shifting closer to Soobin.

The younger smiled, "thank you, hyung. You're doing well, too. Being the next King seemed to be so pressing." The Moon Prince stated, but Yeonjun just chuckles.

Yeonjun rested his head on Soobin's shoulder, making the other blush. His heart was racing quickly, his cheeks heating up. The Moon Prince peeked at the man who was resting on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry to add your burden." Yeonjun lamented, he raised his head, and met Soobin's eyes, "when I'm healed, I promise to help you on everything." He added, smiling.

Soobin shakes his head, "you are no burden to me, hyung. I'm glad to take care of you." He responded, voice calm as ever.

It was no doubt that those sentences made the Chaos Prince's heart jump. The possibility of being in a same approximate with the man he likes, and to be taken care of him was so low, yet here they are.

Meanwhile, Soobin giggled as he noticed that Yeonjun's cheeks were tinted pink.

"Don't worry much, hyung. Tomorrow, why don't we have fun? Let's watch the nature do its thing." Soobin suggested, his hands, now running on Yeonjun's hair, while the other one is rested on the elder's waist.

Yeonjun nodded, "sure! That seems fun." He replied, again, resting his head on the younger's shoulder.

The Moon Prince knew that this was the best decision he made. Making his last moments cheerful. The next month will be his ascendancy, but who cares about that now?
