And speaking about self-harming and wine, maybe Damien could accidentally tell his friends about how he tried to get a sip of wine when he was 4 years old... Like, it would just be a slip of the tongue thing for him as he tries to tell them (mostly WILLIAM) why they shouldn't be drinking too much wine, especially not at THEIR age... But yeah, he tells them that they wouldn't have to worry about him underage drinking like that anymore since he's found other/better ways to cope... Like studying, sewing, self-harming (cutting himself with his wand), and suiciding (I wanted to keep that words-that-start-with-s sequence, even if one of those words didn't actually start with s...!)...
