As she opened her eyes, a deep sense of confusion and warmth intertwined within her. She had just woken up from a highly vivid dream that felt too real, a dream that brought her face-to-face with her mother, who had passed away when she was just a baby. In the dream, she saw her standing before her. Faint whispers of distant memories became clear in her mind. She could hear her soothing voice and feel her gentle touch, as if she was always there, watching over her. But then, the unthinkable revelation shook her to her core - she had died while she was just an infant.

Her heart pounded fiercely in her chest as she stepped out of the bed, still dazed by what she had experienced. The room seemed different, as if it had become a portal to the world beyond, granting her a connection with her departed mother. Her stepmother's disdain for her, already a heavy presence in my life, suddenly became even more overwhelming. In the years since her mother's passing, her relationship with her stepmother had always been strained. She had convinced herself that she despised her, blaming her for a past that was not of her own making. Her cold glances, sharp words, and dismissive attitude had etched deep scars within her. So, when she awoke from that profound dream, the animosity between her intensified, weighing heavily on her heart.

As such, she remained seated on her bed, while her eyes were fixated on the wall in front of her. Memories so suddenly, began swirling around her mind, like a tornado that just has emerged from the ground. Her childhood wasn't full of joy nor happiness. Yes, there are some moments, or like she says, number of occasions, in which she felt the love that she crave for. She can't deny that she inherited some of her stepmother's characteristic. Because of that, she learned how to conceal her feelings, impersonating and giving those the apprehensions that they deserves. Although, she acts differently around her close circle, as they are the only ones who knew her well. They are well aware that she holds a cruel, atrocious and brutal side. In which they are trying their hardest to keep her from becoming the manifestation of her stepmother.

Her eyelids accidentally flickered, causing the connection between her thoughts to break. Her body suddenly flinched, as she realized that she's back to her reality. With saddened smile she wondered, why wouldn't she be loved by the women who had raised her? Why would she behave with such cruelty towards her? Is that because she didn't bear her? Or just her being the sole heir to her father's fortune? She wasn't sure if that was the case, but she won't neglect her stepmom, even if she would ever inherit her father's wealth. Nevertheless, she raised her after all, and at least she could repay her, by taking care of her when needed. She kept delving deeper into her past, trying to remember any incidents that caused the hatred.

-She eventually zoned out again, glancing back through her memory lane, until finally she reached the hidden door behind her evocation. A stream of light suddenly appeared in front of her, shifting her room as if she was time traveling to the past. "I've always despised you Rebecca" she recalled "You are my manifestation of hatred! When your father married me, I was young, and just wanted to live in his world of opulence! But you!...you ruined everything!" With a little gasp that escaped her lips, her eyes submerged into the ocean of tears, collapsing her transtemporal travel, as her room appeared in front of her eyes. "So she married my father..for his name and wealth!" She sniveled "she hated me just because I would be a stone in her path of owning my father's fortune!" It took her all these years, just to finally realize that her stepmother will never show her any affection nor love, when she burden herself with guilt and iniquity thinking that she had committed a sin .

As such, she heaved a sigh when her tears decided to stream against her cheeks. It wasn't any ordinary tears, they were filled with sadness, lost, and regret. Sadness as she touched her heart, realizing that Elizabeth despised her all these years. Lost, lack of affection and love, during her childhood. And regret, wishing that she could join her mother in her grave. It took her awhile before she decided push herself back to her comfort zone. A zone that she alone had created to escape this mess. She nor her friends can't deny that, it took her years to finally create a zone where she could be free.
